Time of Commendable Act: No exact time / Real Time: No exact time Location of Act: No exact location. Overview: During a response to a piracy attack on a NanoTrasen Corporation phoron tanker, in which the SCCV Horizon came under fire from a pirate vessel, Henri Mieville was the sole engineering crew member on the occupational decks. For 3 hours and without break, Mr. Mieville enacted both timely and effective damage control measures to mitigate and contain damage the SCCV Horizon received during and after the incident. Not only this, but he balanced these duties with various engineering supply procurement requests for an ongoing SCCV Intrepid expedition. Mr. Mieville's fast and effective work not only preserved the vessel, but life; a critically injured person on the Bridge could only be accessed in a timely manner as a result of his efforts. Though the described operations do fall under expected maintenance technician duties, I have nonetheless filed a commendation report in the hopes of his mentions in dispatches, a bonus exceeding that which can be dispensed by supervising heads of staff per S.O.P. (>1,000电 BSC), OR other low merit reward. Additional Notes: This has been a pattern throughout the SCCV Horizon's time in the Orion's Scar, Badlands, and now S'rand'marr. This specific commended example is not the only case where Mr. Mieville was either alone or minimally supported in taking on all engineering duties for all-hands operations.

Mieville -------------------- BODY: After careful consideration of the circumstances, we've come to the following conclusion on this Report: * Technician Henri Mieville will be formally in despatches, a separate letter will follow to the crewmember directly. * Technician Henri Mieville will receive a Bonus towards their next paycheck amounting to 3,000 Biesellite Standard Credits. * This Report and it's conclusion will formally be added to Technician Henri Mieville's personnel file, in addition to that, a note outlining the Technician's exceptional duties not only under a situation of extreme stress but also alone within the department will be added to the crewmember's record. While the work performed by the Technician generally falls within their line of duty, they have unarguably shown exceptional service to the SCCV Horizon, it's Crew and ultimately the Conglomerate as a whole. Working under stress in itself takes quite the toll on the average crewmember, but doing so even while alone and managing to fulfil general such as emergency duties sets an example of exceptional work.
