Reyjakai Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 This would be a handy feature to have, and might get people to actually use them. I was pretty amazed the first time I jumped into a transit tube, but they take so long to come and go that it almost seems pointless to use. If there were a button that were to be added, that would be great. Not sure how hard this would be to actually add, though. Just a thought.
Shadow Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Yes, please do it. I try to use them because you can travel arround the outpost pretty easy. It just takes ages until they come to you so a button to call them would be handy.
Chaznoodles Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Transit tubes travel in a loop. To do this would require an entire recoding of them, if I'm thinking correctly.
Jakers457 Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 The only feasible option I would see personally, is that if you had the ability to lock them at each point opposed to having the continually moving throughout the loop. With them locked to one of the entry points, it should be easy enough to call them, not sure if it's easy coding wise though.
ZipZero Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 You can already control their transit while inside the tube. I don't think it would be a great feat to have this sort of control while outside of it.
Guest Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Its funny. The transit tube isnt even meant for people, its meant for artifacts so you dont have to risk them activating on route to the labs. You even used to take pressure damage while in them.
Guest Marlon Phoenix Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Transit call button? Why haven't we had this before???
Guest Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 If they travel in a circle, why just not add more. Like, add the coresponding number of shuttles for the stations, then, there will always be one when you need to call them. If you tell it to go, all of them just rotate in turn.
ZipZero Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 The pods do not travel in a circle. They reach the end of the tube, then reverse direction. You can also control the direction while riding inside.
