canon35 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Use the scanner on myself to see if I got anything besides a fracture. Quote
Wer6 Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Using the scanner on yourself, it hums for a moment, and then prints up the results on a screen Neurological damage detected, possible concussion High BPM, low blood pressure: loss of blood likely! Left false rib fracture detected! It prints out a small bar code wrist strap. Perhaps it can be used by the other medical machinery? Quote
canon35 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Put the wrist strap on and approach the surgery machine. Quote
Wer6 Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Getting into the surgery pod, it closes around you, and then scans the wrist tag. It begins a scan, but after a few secounds, stop. INJURY OBSTRUCTED;REMOVE CLOTHING Quote
Wer6 Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 After taking off your jumpsuit, it scans your chest again. Blue gas fills the chamber, and it is suddenly hard to stay awake. You loose consciousness... Dreams of before "Hey, Chris, I need you to look at something" Mumbling, you go over the the work bench, and he gives you a strange tool. You aren't really sure what it does, but it does have a hap-tic interface... In Russian. Quote
canon35 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Press the biggest switch/button on the interface. Quote
Wer6 Posted August 1, 2015 Author Posted August 1, 2015 You ... Press a button on the device, and you hear it click. It turns off, and then reboots again. "You know, maybe we can get Volcov in here, he speaks russian" The voice behind you talks over an intercomm, and then a Large, stocky german walks in. "You know russian, right? Can you reed this?", Jack said to Volcov. No, you idiot. I'm german, get your facts straight please.", Volcov said. Fiddling with the interface(which is familier to you, same OS as yours, no language changing though), you manage to uplink it to the mainframe, maybe you maybe can run a translation program. The device is currently isolated from the systems. Quote
canon35 Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 See if I can find some sort of translation program. Quote
Wer6 Posted August 1, 2015 Author Posted August 1, 2015 Looking through, you do find a way to translate it, but it is resource intensive, and may take a while, as the tool's programming is unindexed, and quite big in size. Working to start up the algorithem, the device buzzes, and the power goes out... Â Â You wake up in the surgery table.. there is a fairly large, sutured wound on your chest.. Quote
canon35 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Walk over to the diagnostics machine and try to have it scan me. Quote
Wer6 Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 Swinging yourself from the table, you get up.. You go over to the diagnostics machine and an access panel opens up. It has a few options for how deep a scan it can do, and where. Quote
Wer6 Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 After you activate the scanner and set it to scan your chest, it emits a high pitched whir, as it begins its scanning, multiple instruments protruding from it. After about, five minutes, of being poked and prodded, the screen pops with the results, and what you can deduce from them. High BPM, low blood pressure. Possibly blood loss. Healing tissue. Evidence of recent Fracture in left false ribs. Evidence of strain on Cardio systems Oxygen Saturation in tissues Minor Oxygen Toxicity. Cybernetics detected:Different equipment required for identification. Quote
canon35 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Check the closed closet, might be an IV inside. Quote
Wer6 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 Inside the closet is a few parts, and blood bags, Maybe the other machines can give blood transfusions? Quote
Wer6 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 The bio-generator appears to have several tubes, IV's, and a processing hold. Maybe it takes organics and converts them to other things? But reguardless, you can still pierce a vein, and use the sterile pump system on it to function as an IV. Quote

Wer6 Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 Quickly flicking through the cameras, you find the location of the confirmed living crew member. He seems to be treating wounds on his body.. Accessing the most recent medical scans, he appears to have had been injured severely during an EVA exercise, judging from the oxygen toxicity and nitrogen levels withen his body, he seems to have been on an EVA that lasted hours longer than it should have. >>Intercomm_024 activated >>synthesizing, "Hello. Do you need assistance? The man jumps up briefly, looking at the intercomm, and then towards the biomass generator. "Yeah. I've lost a lot of blood... Is there an IV around here? Doing a quick peripheral scan of the medbay, you note that the medical pod contains an IV for injection of drugs and blood, and can be fed blood plasma by the IV. Quote
Wer6 Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 Hooking the man to the IV within the biogenerator, you restore his supply of blood, and take a DNA scan, it is confirmed to be crew member 15. How ever, no name is supplied to you via the ship database. The ship creaks and groans slightly. Perhaps structural integrity is declining. Working through the camera's and networked systems, you quickly find out the ships reactor is leaking coolent that is contaiminated with radioactive materials. You quickly get the on board reactor systems to use alternative tubings and paths, and then seal the reactor. The rest of the job is easy, just purging the room of the radioactive debris, and radiation. There is still one room that you have completely no access to. Status Power: Nominal, Power network potentially compromised. Atmospherics: Dead: Air expires within 4 days. Crew(Abended) 1: UNRESPONSIVE 14: UNRESPONSIVE 16:BPM 70 TEMP 94F Â There are still problems. But the situation is stable for now. Quote
Wer6 Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 Doing ananalysis of your situation, you have a few options. Attempt to access the locked down room Focus on repairs Attempt to get outward communication. Attempt to find out what had happened. Quote
