MetaphysicalPersona Posted February 21, 2016 Author Posted February 21, 2016 why does everyone goes to Phoebe Essel so much? Because she's a non-cringey (Not anymore anyway) character that most people who've been around for a bit have RPed with at least a little and has existed...forever. Nursie has managed to play Phoebe for a year+ and still manages to keep her interesting. So being old and well known that's all? that can happen to anyone, plus I've seen many duplicate personalities upon the NSS aurora You. really can't hate me for making fantastical characters that are not even close to anyone else you guys should at least appreciate a person that dares to make anyone they want with no true concern about outside people think, I'm a hardcore RPer, never break character and stay true the RP I don't meta nor powergame. That's because of my pure lack of lore logic, nothing else. Quote
Blingx3 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 No one hates you, this is a game after all. Hate is a strong word, we only wish to see you do a better character, with better background. Quote

Guest Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Being old and well known is one way to get there, yeah. Essel had her fair share of hate and I imagine some still dislike the character, but you generally get used to the cringe. The thing about Rin was that they were a bumbling mess of contradictions. I actually didn't have to meta to conclude that. My character, Elena, only needed 20 minutes of talking with your character to be seriously desturbed and ask medbay to give your character a psych eval. I don't think that the scale of weird you want your characters to be. Ames is simply breaking the rules. Your character simply can't be that special. I honestly have no judgement of their personality and I believe he is an improvement on Rin. Just get rid of the insane backstory. Make him an only child of a company CEO and owner and that he's suppose to take his parent's place when the latter retires, and that's why he's working, to teach himself responsibility. There, you have your 25th century royalty. Quote

But I'm still going to try to canon his lore and create a new person. Quote

There, you have your 25th century royalty. Hell, mix this with the History Buff thing I suggested and you'd be golden. You'd only need miniscule changes to the character in-game, if any. Quote
