Incident Report - Vikakti Yaktir

Recommended Posts

As this report is very similar to each other, I will be filing them together. They are separate incidents taken place on separate shifts, but they both are categorized under the same issue and person.

Reporting Personnel: Echo Class A Model 002

Rank of Reporting Personnel: Security Officer

Personnel Involved:

- Decanus - Witness

Time of Incident: (If unable to provide, leave blank)

Real time: (Unavailable)

Location of Incident: Starboard Primary Hallway, NSS Exodus

Nature of Incident: [x]Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury [x]Destruction of Property [x]Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault [x]Misconduct []Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.)

Overview of the Incident:

It was discovered that Vikakti Yaktir installed unnecessary airlocks in front of the botany access, without any documentation or approval of head of staff. When questioned, he threatened to press charges if 'a hand was laid on him' due to officers lacking a warrant. Neither Officer Decanus or Officer Echo were hostile while conversing with him. He claimed immunity from arrest, since he insisted a Head of Security would be needed to approve a warrant, stating that the lack of heads is the reason for installing the airlocks, as there was no one available to approve or deny their construction.

He then continued to ignore security's attempts to gather information about a different matter, a break in, again stating that we were to retrieve a warrant to simply speak to him. He has impede productivity of the station, and possibly jeapordize crew personnel. When the shift Captain came on board, the captain was made aware of the incident. When he questioned Yaktir himself, the captain stated that Yaktir had received 'permission' from the Chief of Engineer - although none were available at the time.

Had the changes been documented and he had simply provided us with the forms, a write-up this report would not be required.

Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: (Name, rank (Ckey))

- I did, however data files of the shift were lost. I apologize for being unable to provide the names of the Head of Staff involved.

Additional notes: (If there are none simply leave it blank)

Reporting Personnel:Echo Class A Model 002

Rank of Reporting Personnel: Security Officer

Personnel Involved:

- Vira Taryk - Head of Security - Witness

- Clement Beach - Warden - Witness

Time of Incident:

Real time:(Unavailable)

Location of Incident: NSS Exodus

Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury [x]Destruction of Property [x]Neglect of Duty [x]Harassment []Assault [x]Misconduct []Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.)

Vikakti Yaktir began the shift with informing the crew that he would be constructing additional airlocks around the station. I informed him that once again, these constructions must be properly documented and approved by a Head of Staff. Commander Vira Taryk became involved in the discussion, which was quickly escalated to insults. Vikakti Yaktir stated that these airlocks were designed to protect the crew and station - while this might be true, construction of these airlocks could equally harm the crew in an unforseen event. Yaktir made several disrespectful statements to Commander Taryk, noting that she was a woman in command, and not qualified to be ordering him around, due to her position as a Security Head of Staff, not engineering. One airlock was constructed in front of Medical, despite Taryk's prohibition of them being built, but it is unknown of who constructed them.

After Taryk made it clear that she prohibited the construction of the airlocks, Yaktir stated over comms that he would then refuse to repair the station, and neglected his duty as an Atmospheric Technician.

Yaktir was charged with Slandering a Head of Staff and Resisting Arrest. However, he fled to the outposts, inciting another charge of Sparking a Manhunt. He was spotted moving an engineering vending machine and a few lockers to an unknown location, with the assistance of other engineering personnel. He returned to the station for medical treatment due to a radiation storm, but was immediately cryoed after receiving treatment, and charges were not issued.

Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?:

- Yes, this was reported to Vira Taryk, Head of Security.

Additional notes: (If there are none simply leave it blank)
