Why do you wish to play this specific race:

I would like to play this race because the while I was on the server (Around a month and a half of non stop playtime) I have been noticing and looking at the lore, characters, and how they role play (also the OOC catbeast shit is kinda funny) and I feel like I am ready to start a new RP challenge of playing a tarjara character. I also think this would be a start and foundation for starting something new to my RP experience and add to the fun of playing HRP.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human:

What makes role playing as this species different then a human is you have to remember to extend your R's and watch for certain things like, Talk in third person unless you develop a trust for a certain person, and basically could be sassy and snarky like a cat (You could also make it so the character suffers from PTSD and wartime illness). All in all I think it will add something new and can use different ME commands like, Flicks ear, raises paws, etc.

Character Name: Rri'dis'katslect Cas're

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs

Rri'dis'katslect Cas're was born in a nice family in a small village called "Ka'sit'ca'si" with her parents active agence the tarjara rule and want to give their child knowledge of the arts of reading, writing, science, and music. Her father, Mes'di'M'sai Cas'ri who was a hunter born in the M'sai group and through the years gave knowledge to Rri'dis'katslect Cas're How to hunt and fight. her mother, Kat'li'ser'li Cas're was her teacher through the years teaching her how to read. under her house had extra installation agenced the bitter cold of Adhomai. Her mother also told her since she was a little kitten that the two stars giving her world light where not gods, but where two objects made of flaming plasma orbiting each other and reminded her there was something bigger out there that will bring light to Adhomai (This was a few years before human contact) and warned her not to share her knowledge of books or the suns to anyone outside the house. A year after the first revolution started, people broke into her house when she was out hunting and set aflame her house and set fire to her private library and house shot her parents letting their bodies burn. she came home a few days after the fire has died and saw her two dead parents inside the ashes of her favorite children books and started her never ending nightmares when she was 13 (Year 2422). She had no money and home so turned back to the icy plains to hunt and live on many of Adhomai's wild life and her parents teachings while hiding from fear of the contant booms of the giant artillery cannons. when she was 23 and it was year 2432 (About 10 more years later) another M'sai hunting party found her camp through the thick snow with her inside fur from the animals she hunted and took her back to there home offering her a place to live and later finding out the war has ended. they told her about the book burning and human contact and the 92 million casualties and got citizenship inside the People's Republic of Adhimai. Rri'dis'katslect Cas're soon saw the tension inside the people and prayed there was no war again. for 19 years she had a relatively peaceful life having no children due to the tensions in the population and after the assassination of President, Rhagrrhuzau Hadii in year 2451 she was 42 watched every firing squad and hanging inside her home town in sadness. 3 years later when she was 45 years old she signed a contract and got accepted into N.T's new station "NSS Exodus" with a security placement due to her knowledge of fighting and still remands 4 years later with a knowledge of weapons and fighting making her a valuable member of the security team and transferring citizenship to mendal

What do you like about this character?

I like the backstory of the character I put together making and the detail I put in it like, how her family died, how she lived with herself after that. and what she did living through the war. I also like the lore of the tarjanas and hope it will be good and have the backstory fit into the lore.

How would you rate your role-playing ability? I would rate it around 7/10 but I could be biased and I will let you decide. Also as a antag I try to plan for a while and build up to my attack onto the station and ask admins constantly if I can do things because I try not to break rules

notes: I could not find the build date of the USS Exodus so I just used the NSS Aurora date and I could have lore errors I missed and I will take any and all Constructive criticism so throw it at me and if you feel like I am not ready for a tarjan white list then say it

I have really RPed with many of these char's much, but Mother and Avain bird have been pretty interesting in the antag/normal RP experiences I've had with them. I do think I've see one or two of your characters in too many different jobs, but I'm not sure about that. Anywho, You get a +1 from me.

Hello! Sorry about the delay; our current Tajara overseer is currently on an extended camping trip, so I'll be making a decision on it today.

The application brought up several small red flags that had me bring up the application to some of my other developers for consideration; Hivefleet was able to offer his thoughts over his mobile phone in the staff discord. These are all small things that I don't like to bring up individually or let it be a major hurdle, but together it does add up to a whole as I'm reading: your spelling and grammar could use some work. "(also the OOC catbeast shit is kinda funny)" is another red flag because we periodically get joke applications based on running anti-furry gags.

However you show a very solid grasp of the race and the ongoing civil war on Adhomai. You delightfully date and reference Cas're's age with the dates. This shows that you put real effort and thought into this application and it lets me overlook the red flags, and you have positive feedback as well.

The character specifically is another red flag. She is 45 and entering a private security force. Her backstory is also focused on living rogue after the death of her parents and entering society again after being found by a hunting party and joining the PRA; there's no described experience in law enforcement or security work.

Qualifications: Completed 4 week Security cadet-ship and passed the written exam, or 2+ years experience in security or law-enforcement related position(s).

 

I'm going to accept this application on the condition that the character is played as a Cadet for at least 2 weeks, and it will be up to you if you want to do the full 4 weeks as a cadet. I don't want to let this sit any longer so I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt in good faith that you'll be a cadet for some time.
