Why do you wish to play this specific race: A drastic change of pace and outlook from playing humans, a chance to play the victimised rather than the victimiser. I always enjoyed playing synthetics, and an IPC is another opportunity to do just that. Alongside that, robots are pretty damn neat, yo.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Again, the idea of being the subjugated rather than the subjugator. It's an interesting thing to play off, alongside the relations to other species, such as the Glorsh Omega situation with the Skrell. Also, with the current Synthetics movement, alongside the antag competition, it's the perfect time to flesh out an IPC (pun intended).

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs

 

 

What do you like about this character? Playing an anti-synth synth gives opportunity to create conflict, both with other synths and other races. Alongside this, it questions the point of IPCs being 'free' within a universe where they are created by others.

How would you rate your role-playing ability? High. I allow antag role ample opportunity to create fun and roleplay for others, and do so as an antag. I also attempt to create roleplay as crew.

Uncle Ruckus incarnate, in synthetic form. I'm interested in seeing the executed concept, though, as cultural contrarians are possibly the most fascinating sorts of characters to analyze and roleplay with.

Chaz has a bit of a checkered history by Aurora standards, but my personal feelings are neither irrelevant or worth nothing. It's fairly clear that Chaznoodles is capable of creating interesting situations and he isn't roleplay drone #4512 who merely upholds the status quo.

I really like Chaz and his RP, and his characters are great. It's a shame he's too dignified of a human to play a catbeast. Oh well; IPCs are the next best thing.

I love Chaz, he actually has a brain, and is using it to roleplay believable characters. I also love the character itself. Might want to explain how the he got created and then hired by NT, just a short mini story, as I already trust you to pull it off. And expand the speech (or later touch the topic In-game) with synthetics being just programming and hardware, easily being modified or copied, where only organics get attached to them with their brains being tricked into thinking that these synths are sentient or some other shit.
