Prillup Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Hey so, I've been permabanned from this evening's "malfAI Departure Spacing" incident. Honestly, I did it before the shuttle came by two minutes, I was malfAI, and I don't really understand the use of a permaban? I even kept it in RP, not just some random act. What happened is this, I bolted all the escape doors, then spaced before the shuttle came. Afterwards, I was pulled away for a family matter for about 15-20 minutes. When I came back, I saw the ban note, as well as the note about not responding to notes and bwoinks by mods/admins. If you'd like to talk now, that would be amazing. I love this server and a lot of its players too much to be taken down for something like this. My past mistakes, the "Being a Vampire and Screeching on a Departing Shuttle", were sufficient and fair, the lesson being read the rules and don't "end round grief". Please contact me about this new ban please, I would like to keep playing on the server.

Prillup Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 BYOND Key: Prillup Total Ban Length: Perma-ban Banning staff member's Key: sircatnip Reason of Ban: "Venting departures as malfAI and ignoring Staff PM's after the fact." Reason for Appeal: I was the one who vented, but as the shuttle had not arrived, I believed that the "end of round" grief had not come into effect yet, seeing as I was the all-seeing Malf-AI, I believed it was still equal grounds to space Departures. After doing this act I was called away by my parents for family business, and was not around for the next 10-15 minutes in which Admins had PM'ed me. I was banned by the time I returned and I could not reply. (Thank you TishinaStalker for the help with formatting this appeal).
Catnip Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Alright. Considering the circumstances of you not responding to the PMs, I'll be lifting the ban. However, I advise if you ahelp for clearance before messing with departures in a major way such as this in future. I'd just like to make this clear. "Collateral damage is acceptable within reason, but this means you must use common sense, and avoid creating scenarios with a lot of potential for collateral (setting bombs in high-traffic areas, etc.)" Ban lifted.
