i tryed playing aurorastation today (9/28/2016) for the first time today and when i launch the game it said that i was banned for uploading several smut books into the library earlier today. i wasnt on the station ealier today to do that. let alone would ever upload books other that ss13 offical books.

i do not understand why i was banned for doing something i didnt do, please help i really enjoy playing on your server .

its the only server that take the game seriously the way i like it

From the database, you were banned for uploading woody get woody and other books with smut involving a captain and a xenomorph maid, and both of them were linked to your ckey. Can you explain what exactly is the issue with it and why it gets in conflict with the server rules?

those book are ss13 official books, its part of the webpage of ss13.

i didn't know it was against the rules to post them.

now i know however and i wont post them again, librarian was a boring job anyway

also why didn't i get told this when it happened, a couple days ago

They are still clearly against the server rules, still, no one told they weren't due to the fact that no one saw them being in the library data base until today. So, my question still stand, what was exactly the issue and how your actions got in conflict with the server rules as a whole?

myself and two other friends just read the entire rule book and found nothing against those books, so im not really sure what issue i made when i published those books.

however i have heard of one of them being banned from some servers so im sorry if i missed to rule about it here.

if there is a specific rule can you please show me so that i know for the future.

From the rules.

 

Do not break the atmosphere of the game. Also known as "breaking immersion". For example, using slang terms for antagonists IC "traitor", "rev", "syndie", "wizard", "changeling", etc. Use of OOC game slang IC, "robust", "shitcurity", "emag", "esword".

 

That applies to this kind of book, mostly due to their status in the ss13 community.

 

ERP, also known as Erotic RolePlay, is not allowed on the server. While displays of romantic affection and romantic scenes are acceptable, scenes of a clearly sexual intent will be broken up. (Again, use common sense for this. Sexual tension up to a point is acceptable - sexual acts in themselves are not.)

 

The nature and content of those books fall under this rule as well.

I will lift this ban soon, but, read the server rules, ignorance is not an excuse.
