Skull132 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 As discussed in a thread posted around December, we will be moving servers to a more powerful host. The move is planned to take place on the 25th and 26th of March. During that time, server.aurorastation.org may not work, depending on how fast DNS changes propagate. There's also the ever-present chance of catastrophic failure! A few things to note is that the server is hosted in Germany, and this does mean that there will be a slight increase in ping for American players. Though, during testing, once the :ree:-factor was overcome, majority of the playerbase were fine. Any edgecases should also resolve themselves when we're not actively shoving 60+ people onto the server who all want fresh resources at once. And in case it doesn't work out for whatever reason, I'll keep the old server in my back pocket for the next month. Contingency plans are nice to have. That's about it! Quote
Skull132 Posted March 26, 2017 Author Posted March 26, 2017 Okay, the server move has been carried out. All data and such are on the new server. If server.aurorastation.org:1234 is not working, please use host.aurorastation.org:1234. The DNS changes will kick in shortly. Quote
