AllyBearsley
Reporting Personnel: Sheila Mortiz Rank of Reporting Personnel: Chef Game ID: b0o-an33 Personnel Involved: - Kiera Fairbanks, Security Officer: Offender (nodnodnod) - Jonathan Braddock, Security Officer: Offender (dunrill2011) - Sean Thomson, Security Officer: Offender (daftspy) - Alex Rill, Cook: Witness/Victim (ForgottenTraveller) - Robin, Janitor: Witness/Victim (TheCritsyBear) - Jarod Dvorsky, Captain: Witness (cirukcaller) - Poslan Kur’yer-Isra, Security Officer: Witness (jboy####) Time of Incident: 2459-05-09 Real time: Roughly 22:45-23:00 CST Location of Incident:Kitchen Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard[x]Accident/Injury[x]Destruction of Property[]Neglect of Duty[x]Harassment[x]Assault[x]Misconduct[]Other _____Overview of the Incident: Janitor Robin was called to clean up the kitchen. Robin responded and promptly arrived to clean the kitchen. While Robin was finishing up his cleaning, Security starts calling on commons to arrest Robin for “not cleaning”. Mind you the station had just dealt with Space Bears, much of the crew were injured, and there were messes everywhere. However, the station was also still in Code Green. So when four Security Officers surrounded the Kitchen, with weapons drawn and no warrant, we refused, and requested they show a warrant. Security then tried forcing their way in through multiple entrances, including the hallway counter, without warning. I closed the shutters since I felt it was an unlawful entry. Eventually security were able to break open the entrance from hydroponics. Kiera Fairbanks threw a flashbang into the room without warning. After it blinded us, she then barged in with a weapon drawn before putting Robin in cuffs. Officer Braddock soon entered the kitchen with weapons drawn, threatening me and Cook Rill,. Eventually he hit Rill with what I assumed to be as stunbaton. Eventually they removed Robin in cuffs. I was then scolded by Sean Thomson who claimed the shutters for the kitchen were “not meant to keep people out, and it was unlawful to attempt to do so to anyone.” Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: Yes. Captain Jarod Dvorsky and Luka Brala (Ornias).Actions taken: I reported the incident to the Captain shortly after it was concluded. He informed me that he was handling security himself. I also reported the incident to Luka Brala, when he arrived on the station; however, I believe Mr. Brala had his hands full with a wild barkeep. Additional notes: I have full faith that Captin Dvorsky handled the situation to the best of his ability; however, with the station being in the state it was in I want to ensure that Central Command knows about the misconduct performed by the Security Team. He will demoted from the position of Captain and barred from holding the role of Captain or Head of Security aboard the NSS Exodus or any other NanoTrasen Installation should he receive re-assignment. This action may be subject to appeal in no less than one month's time. -Jonathan Braddock has not returned to work aboard the Exodus since this incident was reported, however as his contract is still active we have issued him a severe warning for his actions, any further violations will likely result in the termination of his Employment Contract. -Kira Fairbanks has been issued a warning regarding improper escalation of the detainment procedure as we were unable to corroborate her story with any other witnesses regarding her intended use of the flashbang deployed in the raid. -------------------- DTG: 02-09:18-TAU CETI STANDARD-06-2458 SIGN: Lyla Rathen Link to comment
