Frances Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I will be running future rounds during the evening of the 31st of December to the 1st of January, with a possible encore on the evening of the 1st. Happy New Year to all!
Lady_of_Ravens Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 This post represents unfocused excitement without adding anything useful to the convorsation. Thank you for reading this, and good day!
Crescentise Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Can someone please explain the ins and outs of future rounds? Thanks in advance~

Frances Posted December 27, 2014 Author Posted December 27, 2014 Can someone please explain the ins and outs of future rounds? Thanks in advance~ http://aurorastation.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=623 This thread has most of the relevant information. A future round is basically a round which happens an arbitrary amount of time in the future of the server's timeline (in our case, 20 years ahead). This allows people to experience how their characters (and others') have aged up, as well as play as their children, coming to take up their mantle on the station.
Guest Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 You go to work, but it is 20 years in the future. Your character has aged. Lets see what happens when they come on station and see how their life has(n't) changed through the last 20 years FRANCES NINJA'D
Baka Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 what wacky antics will chief medical officer samantha capriello get into this time
Lady_of_Ravens Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Oh, that's sick. I wonder what EmPrESS would be like in 20 years... that's something like 4 times her current age. She could be all, like, extreamly personable and human seeming... or totally skitzy with 20 more years worth of data packed into her symbolic database.
LordFowl Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Evening in what timezone? (I want to get my dates right!)
