Ryuzaki4Days Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Reporting Personnel: Frankie Benford Rank of Reporting Personnel: Station Engineer Game ID: bP8-afqN Personnel Involved: John Heimerschmidt - Captain - Offender Manfred Hayden - Chief of Engineering - Witness Christine Clarke - Internal Affairs Agent - Witness - Time of Incident: Real time: 3.45 GMT Location of Incident: Aurora Station Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard[]Accident/Injury[x]Destruction of Property[x]Neglect of Duty[x]Harassment[]Assault[x]Misconduct[]OtherOverview of the Incident:During my shift aboard Aurora as an engineer (A role I am not usually stationed in, due to the fact I am a trained atmospherics technician) I was harassed by Captain Heimerschmidt to come to his office regarding some menial joke played during shift (I asked a few friends to come to engineering desk to show off a horse mask I found during a maintenance sweep, they enjoyed it.) From there, the Captain summoned me to his office and proceeded to officially warn me for not answering a call I missed whilst fixing an issue with power, for possessing said mask and for 'breaking professionalism in uniform' for wearing a mask for five minutes. I was then warned if I was to wear the mask again, I would be demoted. Foolishly, I did, in an attempt to bring a more light-hearted mind to a rather brutal shift. Said Captain Heimerschmidt demoted me instantly, something both myself and my department head then brought up with Internal affairs. Ms Clarke swiftly dealt with my demotion being revoked, however the damage was already too late as the bridge was destroyed and the engine core in meltdown, two things I as an engineer could have repaired, thus causing massive damages due to my absence. Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: Reported to Christine Clarke, Internal Affairs agentActions taken:Internal affairs had the demotion turned over by CCom, and told me to file this official incident report. Ms Clarke offered herself as a witness to the situation. Additional notes:
