One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: I have always had the best of fun roleplaying as a machine integrated into human society. On other servers, it's always the most fun to develop my character as a machine. For example, I would have the same personality for my IPC to start off with that would match my job. Hard working, with a dull and short sense of humor, and dull interaction skills, whom would be programmed to simply do his job. As the round continues, the more I communicate with others, the more I develop my machine character to fit in with the environment around him. I find doing this as a machine, I will always have a different round, and will always be acting differently and varied every round. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Every human on the station has some sort of agenda, some sort of backround he or she comes from that makes them respond, and act a certain way that fits their personality, and their opinions (as it's been adapted that way since birth). As a new machine, my only purpose would be to work, and to learn about the people, and environment around him that does not seem new to him. As time goes on, and I begin communicating more, I will slowly begin to form new opinions, new perspectives, and I will slowly bridge the gap between whats human, and whats machine. Some of the most fun aspects of playing a machine is communicating with humans, whether they act harsh, or understanding of me, and I find the difference between me (Artificial Humanity) and humanity itself is very compelling to RP with. Character Name: Thomas Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Thomas is a hard working, and competent unit whose purpose is to do his job to the best of his ability. Only a year old, Thomas has a grasp on the basic functions of his job, and how to do it. However, due to him being only a year old, he is still getting the hang of communication skills, and personality. The contact he has had with his creators, and his peers before being put into work by Nanotrasen however, has given him enough communication skills to work effectively in whatever field he is in. What do you like about this character? Thomas is essentially a blank slate, who only knows his job. Through interactions with his peers, he evolves and becomes more aware. However, with antagonist roles, he is programmed with whatever orders and objectives he is given, and would die to accomplish these orders, as a result of this, he is not very subtle or discreet, however he still tries his best. How would you rate your role-playing ability? 9/10 Notes: I'm not shy to criticism.
