Character aging?

So, just recently I made a new character who is 17 years old, a security cadet that aspires to be an officer. However as the Sec. Officer minimum age requirement is 20, that would take a while. Are there any rules involving when and how can I age my character, or can I, say, age him every 10 to 10 rounds If I like? Thanks in advance.

There aren't any rules involving aging, do it however you see fit.

Usually you just do a RetCon™.

You just come to work older than everyone thought you were and pretend it was always that way.
