Briefcases coming next update. As for the HoS trenchcoat. Well. You can get that from your locker easily enough. Don't want clutter. Species-specific hardsuit modkits is actually an amazing idea, though. I was worried about needing a million of them inside EVA. Being able to spawn with your own modkit kinda' solves the problem nicely. Don't know if new hardsuit sprites are ready yet though. Will hold off on it but keep it in mind.

Good-bye. I hate goodbyes, but. Some things are not better left unsaid. I like you just fine, if that's worth anything. Anyway.

Done and done! If you want the suit, I need the item name for it so I can check what it is. An unarmored variant can be copypasted with pretty much zero effort. And even if it's armored, well. It's 10 armor. I don't think anyone cares that much. But I need a name.

Briefcases added in secure and unsecured flavors. Two and three points irrespectively. Zippo added for one(1!) point. If you want a cheap lighter, you can get it from the smoke machine easily enough every round so.

Sorry. Not an item suggestion thread, plus I don't really have any talent for artsy stuff. This is for custom gear prefs. The thing on the character setup that you get five points for. Also. Monocles are kind of silly. They don't really, y'know. Fit.

you can do better than this. there are so, so many reasons why this is an indefensibly bad idea and you're going with the arbitrary fluff decision. you can do better. hang up and try again.

Thiiiis is not an item suggestion thread. It's for the custom gear prefs. I thought we already had the fancy suit? Might be the executive suit. Not sure. If you see it, please give me an item name because there are a lot of lawyersuits.

I know this is probably a horrible idea, which, when it comes to the general quality of my ideas, is saying something. But I miss those precious shiny red goggles something awful, and would like to see them back. For those of you who don't know what they are! Thermal goggles are red meson-looking things that don't let you see through walls but do let you see people through walls. They also let you see cloaked people (Notaproblem anymore, thank goodness.) The HoS, warden, and detective used to get a pair each, except the warden's one spawned on the all access side of the warden desk and the first officer who got it was pretty much the person who won the round forever and everyone would be jealous. If you get EMPed while thermalling, your eyes take like a million damage too. I admit I have pretty much no solid basis for suggesting this besides 'I want them back.' Even if it's in a limited capacity, like just one or two instead of the full three. Or R&Dable (ha ha okay. maybe with illegal levels or diamonds) or orderable. Really. There was a pretty good reception in OOC, so even though this is a meritless, terrible idea, I wonder if enough people will support it to push it through anywaaaay.

I forgot about this, but we should probably start up a new one. On character setup, you can pick custom gear. Suggest stuff you want to see and want to use, and not stuff-that-isn't-there. It's a pretty heavily populated list, so we want to avoid more clutters. no joke suggestions. i hate fun and i hate jokes and if you make jokes then i hate you. Adding tape recorders, cameras, clipboards, coming next update.

That's just kinda' how halloss works right now. Once you go over 100, it drops to 99. Would take a little rewriting of halloss code. Could? Make the chem metabolize superfast after it knocks you out. But then we don't get the other fun stuff. Halloss knockouts just. They last for a while and they aren't very fun, and being permalocked in that is kind of dull. Like oldchloral. Regardless of the spam, I'm not sure if it's something that should be encouraged or introduced?

Hypnozine: Can do spammy message method in like two minutes. Didn't because not sure if it's a good thing to aaaadd. plus name. Deaf/blind/pain: Rip potassiumsalt's snowflakey overdose code and we can also do that in like two minutes. This and hypozine sound like super-crypto though. Maybe it'll make crypto actually useable. Concern: With anything that increases halloss, every increment of halloss makes the game check if you're over a hundred or not. And if you are over a hundred, it sets you down to 99 and then the chem shunts you over again. The problem with this is that chems, um. They constantly gradual-increase your pain levels. Once you're over 100, you are going to be passed out for a very, very, veeeerry long time. And every tick, people will be spammed with x slumps to the ground, too weak to blub messages. Like mutagen/radium and the deathcollapse spiral you fall into. Except with pain. Not sure if this is a good idea. Silencechem: Should be simple? Not sure if want to doooo. A lot of poisonings cause muteness afterwards, actually.

EvilBrage's Eventual Head Whitelist Application

I hate voting for people, but. Faiburgers. And Samuel Avalon actually made me hate his guts. I love hating peoples' guts. Qualityplayer. In need of more votes. And my whitelist story was actually something I felt like writing for my AI, so. Understand the mismatched story thing completely. yes. Good luck. -
Yes! Target limb with saw while they're on a table. Keep in mind even one missing limb will usually eventually sink that someone into paincrit so. They aren't going anywhere after a while. yes. Those rollerbeds have a 75% chance of making you mess up, and normal old tables have a 50% chance of making you mess up. You can operate on them though if you're in a rush. And if the limb's coming off, well. A mis-slice here and there isn't a big deal.

Should be noted that most of these pop culturey names are all in the random AI name list that they suggest for you. yes. If this gets implemented, someone should remove it. I think it's in the config, which is not uploaded to our code, so. askskull.

back in my day, we did things right. But my day is over, and I don't expect it to come back. The original revolutions were syndicate backed, with free brainwashing tech (Flashers) handed out like candy. Flash the crew, overrun the heads. NT disables shuttles because they don't care about their employees, and whoever lives after the killing's done can be the new heads of staff. While brainwashing would be a really handy way of handling the whole getting-people-to-revolt issue, encouraging stuff like the mass-flashing from the days of old would be pretty bad. Don't feel new flavor texts can encourage people to do stuff. Too many people like playing it neutral. The whole 'no leaving your department' thing makes it a lot harder on rev heads though. Mostly I wish we had better rev heads. And I think encouraging them to be more creative is a step in the right direction. I've only ever seen people stick with the prompts and paycuts, and only ever seen the uncaring crew kind of just shrug it off. Would like to implement a limited form of brainwashing so you can get like at least one person on your side. Maybe an evil implant. Maybe change the texts around some, too. Not sure I like the NT civil war idea though.

Witnessed this. Literally, after the verdict was passed, just went, 'whatever, i've got to go anyway,' and then logged out for the rest of the round. I think it was actually a good bit longer than an hour though. Like between an hour and a half and two. Not for the celltime but for the whole ordeal. Ya' forgot the part where he tried to justify it because 'you can't insult your superior officer back in the military,' though. He left shortly after it was explained he was on a civilian research station. So like. He tried to pull the 'I can insult you but if you insult me, I get to punish you' card. Which pretty much means-- yes!-- he's only here for the power trip. Fairly atrocious head of staff. If any officer arrested someone for an hour on 'insulting an officer,' I assume that that someone would be secbanned at a minimum. And also banned. So, like. Motioning for all three. Flagrant abuse of authority, unwillingness to deal with consequences. Does not belong in positions of authority, head or otherwise.

Swat's43 head whitelist application

There was a story they told in my high school about the girl who got her hair caught in a buzzsaw. It didn't, y'know, pull her in and chop up her head or anything, but it did snag. It did, however, tear off a chunk of her scalp, hair and all. 'No loose hair, garments, or jewelry' is like rule number one of machine safety. The second rule number one is don't be within two hundred feet of heavy machinery while drunk, and the third rule number one is stay away from heavy machinery if you think you might be dumb. Those last two are kind of unrelated. Like. Style is fine. Style is great. But if you so much as turned your head too fast, that much hair would almost a hundred percent get caught in something spinning, or moving, or on fire. And it's a braid. Which is a lot of hair attached to a lot of scalp. Which means you probably wouldn't get the benefit of just losing a few scalp chunks. Hair like that is a massive safety violation. If I ever actually played and was RD at the same time you were a roboticist, I'd honest to goodness throw you out until you got your hair cut. For your own safety, y'know. It's not just unrealistic. It's literally trying to kill yourself. -
My avatar is a picture of the background because I'm terrible. See how that works. I like the background, but there's shading on it so I can't just copy it proper because. And that's terrible. Everything is terrible.

I want to see my avatar as a post but I have to post to see it and everything is awful.
