If there is not enough space then you can propably move the chaplain's office too. I feel like the library has more than enough space if you combine the area of hydroponics and the office and move both to where the library currently is. The only real problem with that would be on how to divide that area between those two with a large enough hallway.

I'd like to throw a (bad) idea into the mix too, which is why not change the idea of lings from ''the thing but slightly different'' to ''slowly adapting shapeshifter''. What my version would be is that you produce DNA points slowly over time along with letting you turn into other people that you interacted with for a while. That being said, that should propably be it's own thread. Having prey changelings can potentialy be bad, as in theory they could play as a multitool and change into crowbars/screwdrivers/ect unless they get some kind of mechanical thing that prevents it. However, quickly morphing into people you see would propably fit auroras playstyle alot better.

This is a minor suggestion for the changelings armblades. I often see changelings ending up in the isolation cells in the brig, where they are usualy rather stuck (unless they have their monkey transformation) and have to wait until the round is over. Therefore, I suggest two ways of fixing that problem. Way 1: Make armblades work like a fireaxe. With that, they can always bash the door in enough to break it and force it open with it's blades and give the changeling at least a little chance of escape. Security can still put barricades infront of it and make it harder that way. Way 2: Add a new 1 point power. Said power would be more of a bone-meathook style, dealing alot less damage than the armblades but can be used to force doors and airlocks open like a crowbar/fireaxe. Both ways should (at least in theory) be simple to implement and would help trapped changelings out alot and make ling rounds at least a little bit less like extended.

They can act very different to human or humanoid characters in their ideas and how they respond. You can see that with me playing Alpha more than the other characters. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: The biggest difference is that they are logical over all else. When it comes down to it, they emulate emotions instead of having 'real' ones and only work on action/reaction. That is very different with how characters act that are truly alive and is always interesting to explore. There is also the difference of being either an owned asset or having painstakingly brought their freedom, only to still be only a second class citizen that can get dismantled for minor crimes. His adjustment time to get used to his dutys and work was small, thanks to his shell and programing of a doctor. Sadly, he has characteristics that most people would claim to be negative. While he is respectul, he is also very judging about his patients and often talks down on people for making mistakes. This has lead to people seeing him as a nuisance to work with. The CMO finaly had enough of it in Juli 2460, but because of him being an owned IPC, it was either a choice of dismantling him or assigning him to a different station. The choice has been made for the later and he was transfered to the NSS Aurora shortly after. What do you like about this character? He's an IPC that understands that people can get hurt but doesn't understand that it is painful or that humans are slightly more squishy. He knows that he has to give people that black out medication for this 'pain' thing but doesn't know exactly why. I effectively want to play him as someone that doesn't get it but fixes those people anyway. How would you rate your role-playing ability? Fairly ok, but sometimes I write something in a wrong way (Using I/me instead of a term used for an object for example). I'm also not that good when it comes to aggressive antagonists, but that is duo to experience more than anything else.
