I have a 14,000 point Necron army myself; and I am currently sat with their new codex on my knee, laughing at all the ways it can make the dirty imperials cry; because there are quite a few in this new edition. Generally I play against IG, Orks, Tau, Grey Knights, Chaos Space Marines and Dark Angels. Though occasionally I get to play against Space Wolves and both breeds of Eldar. Never been in any serious tournaments; only the ones set up in my local club; which I lost due to that annoying DA player. IM GOING TO NEED TWO BOLTERS FOR ALL THIS HERESY, FOR THE IMPERIUM OF MAN!!!!

Gollee Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 Against Tau, take the Decurion, at least 10 flayed ones for backboard defence, Destroyer Cult, Annihilation Nexus. Their fire warriors don't stand up to a warrior assault, given your insane toughness; the bikers with shield vanes can pop their tanks. The flayed ones deal with any deepstrikers that get too close, given that they easily nom terminators now. The Cult is just a general fuck you; it screws with everything, and it can carry so many heavy cannons. The Annihilation Nexus clears their troops, as their rail tanks won't be around long with bikers and destroyers floating about.

canon35 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Necropost time. How do you feel about all these 40k games coming out? Besides the mobile ones, the 2 major one coming is Battlefleet:Gothic and the space hulk FPS. IMO, from what I've seen so far, both seem like a good time sink and it'd be nice to have more 40k media. However, I do remain wary as most games that have come out lately were terrible.
