Fortport
Carry them in one hand like roller beds. There are chairs like this in real life. Edited May 24, 2019 by Fortport Link to comment
Conspiir
Can confirm. Some wheelchairs fold. They fold up like strollers. But ours are the big-wheel manual type, so they would be a lot bulkier if they did fold. It's questionable whether they could be held in one hand by your average person. Link to comment

How about tucked under an arm? And if not, I'm sure they could be tweaked? Link to comment
Conspiir
We could make the wheelchairs of the tiny wheel electric variety. No more manual wheel-turning (which is exhausting). And they fold up far tighter than the ones we have ever could. Definitely carriable, probably less than 50 lbs. Spoiler Link to comment

I can't think of an object that forces you to wield upon picking it up. It would have to force you to wield it when you pick it up, and automatically drop of your other hand is full, I think. And also not allow you to unwield it. Sounds fucky in my head. I'm not sure how it would pan out in practice. Link to comment

Tweaking the sprite a bit(different type of wheelchair) might be necessary for one-handed carry, like you said. I'd be super thrilled if we could finally fold wheelchairs along with roller beds and if it makes actual sense. Link to comment
