Jamini Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 Alright, everyone who signed up/interested should try and contact me to get characters set up if they haven't already before friday. Right now we are aiming to start around 7pm. I've added a few extra slots in case people cannot make it, or things happen. Quote
PoZe Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I haven't play that game, yet, could you please contact with me and explain how to?) Quote
Jamini Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 ((I'm running a tabletop, think Dungeons and Dragons, game based on this story-line. Players who sign up are encouraged to join us on Friday, at 7:00pm (-5GMT) Right now we have... quite a few players. Probably more than I'll feel comfortable having at once. I suspect at least a few people will end up dropping but right now I can't justify taking on more than the people we have. I do promise that more sessions and on-shots will be run in the future though, so check back occasionally!)) Quote
Jamini Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 Event Conclusion A fiery bullet from the heavens dropped, soaring down into the side of the Blackridge mountains. A shuttle, from it gently drifting down a flotilla of parachutes as the small mixed team of paramilitary and civilian personal landed on the northern, snowy bank of the blacken-ridge mountain range. A report of bullets, the hiss of steam, and the crash of breacher on breacher filled the cold, thin mountaintop air as the group of eight stormed the hidden mercenary base. Nearly an hour passed, the front door emitted a thin, oily smoke from deep inside the complex. The sounds of fighting rose and fell, feral human and inhuman cries mixed with the report of laser and ballistic gunfire. Slowly fading as the conflict drove deeper and deeper into the mountain. In the end, the ragged band of... 'heroes' limped slowly out of the mountain base. Their heads held low as they carried their goal from the heart of an enemy stronghold. The Rankov synthetic crew landed with a second shuttle. They collected all but Ro'hi'tin, who stayed with the Unathi and human prisoners they had taken. Doggedly ensuring proper custody to Sol Alliance Troops. Davis Travis was killed during the operation, shot in the head after a desperate ploy to rescue his friend from a similarly certain faith. The revival process took longer than normal with him, and he does not remember the events clearly, except for and intense sense of pride when he sees his friends alive and well. Connally and Ha'kim survived, despite horrific injuries. A stark reminder of the price of heroism. Sirasairot was reminded of his years as an Unathi soldier, and passed on with a refreshed sense of the pride and honor for his people. Even as an exile, that pride burns bright in his chest even today. He had saved not only a friend, but the honor of a fellow soldier. The Honor of an Enemy that soon became his own. Rash'hed Khayyam-Eil was reunited with his husband. Both were changed by their experience in that facility, but their bonds if anything were tighter than ever. Tpr Sinsa returned to duty, the equipment she had borrowed returned the next day...what was left of it. Oddly, her superiors and fellow troopers did not question the extra bullet holes and damage to the common equipment, and Sinsa was not really one to spread around information like that. As for the mastermind behind this? As for Faust... When the Sol Alliance troopers finished their sweep of the base, Faust ... no... Firewood...was nowhere to be found. Some say he suicided, others say the Sol Alliance shot him and left him behind. Sue: Ana says he's a BICH. Some say Firewood still crops up, terrorizing border colonies to this day. Still. Bryce Faust was never seen again on the NSS-Aurora, and his account with Nanotrasen was terminated that night. Faust had pull with Nanotrasen, but nobody could discount multiple eyewitness accounts of him flying hostile colors, or trying to kill Tau Ceti citizens. Another day on the NSS-Aurora 12:01PM Welcome to Space Station 13 Quote
Jamini Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 A very, very old friend of Nasir's has rejoined the Rankov crew. Rafael Morris, Atmospheric Technician, Has (re)-joined the Rankov. Some time this week I may re-build the Aurora version of the Rankov in dreammaker. For visual reference. Quote
