Overview of the Incident: 

Mr. Geary was sitting in the red dock departures when he made the statement "Now would be a good time to bomb the shuttle." I was standing next to him and heard him make the statement into his headset. This was apparently broadcast over the R&D department radio channel. I immediately placed Mr. Geary into custody, suspecting that he had a bomb on him. While none was found, he was kept in custody during the evacuation for precautionary reasons, due to the nature of his threat and statements.

Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: The head of department heard the comments, as well as the Captain.

Actions taken: Offender was detained and held during the evacuation.
