The Security Hud

The security hud (item you can get in the loadout) should be immune to flashes. I understand, it doesn't make sense because it doesn't cover both of your eyes. But, the item is just plain out inferior to the sunglasses. It just opens up more fashion options (because I'm that kinda guy).

I thought the hud existed because it can be attached to prescription glasses?

You can attach HUDS to sunglasses or prescription sunglasses.

There's also a version that covers both eyes from RnD.

Haven't played sec in a while, but unless the sprites were changed, the ones in the locker are sunglasses style.

Nuh uh, you can't. I have tried it, in game I took the item, and sunglasses and attempted to combine it. I would like the plain out hud, to be immune to flash.

No, I should. But, I still want the plain out hud to be immune to flashes, mainly for fashion reasons.

If you mainly want it for fashion reasons then I don't see the point in adding it.

There are times when this would be classed as OP or powergamey, because there are times when you want to flash a security member.

They aren't flash-immune because scientists can make them from the protolathe, iirc

Also HUDglasses used to be a HOS and Warden-only sort of thing. Power creep and all.

Woopsy daisy, my bad. Didn't realize that it could be made in science. Sorry about that, thought it was just something Security personnel could get in the custom loadout.
