Reason of Ban: Reason: For calling someone a cunt in aooc after they were killed by the player, right after being warned for being overly agressive to them in aooc and then doing all they could in character to screw them over..

Reason for Appeal: TL;DR I was banned for an OOC grudge that didn't happen on the precedent of a largely invalid warning.

The situation was that someone (Terry Dyre, played by @streex) and I both spawned in as traitor scientists and wanted to work toxins. He got there first (curse my loadout equipping time) and started making very poor bombs. I expressed in AOOC that the round had only been going for a few minutes and I already hated it, because now I had nothing to do. Goret pointed out that I was being aggressive over nothing, and yes my wording was very displeased, but that was the extent of it. I dick around for a while (because I locked myself into a character whose only purpose is bomb making and I had nothing else to do) and I eventually came back to toxins to check in. I saw Terry leave toxins with bombs in his bag, and figured this would be a good way to get him out of my hair, so I reported it. I was PM'd strangely quick by Alb over this, because he felt I was bringing OOC feelings into it, and that me reporting it was being overly hostile IC because of it. My reasoning was deemed insufficient I suppose, because I was given a warning over it. Anything further between Terry and my character (from my side, at least) was nothing but pointing out the inefficiency of his bombs and making an attempt to explain how to make them better. Circumstances forced us to be stuck together in toxins with 2 officers, and when I went to test one of his bombs at the range he walked up, weaken pen'd me and put me in the disposal, and at some point an explosion happened and gibbed him and the 2 officers. I called them a name in a heated moment over AOOC. I was then shortly banned by Alb using the justification of the warning given earlier and that I was 'doing all I could to screw them over'. Checking the logs, he mentioned me screwing them over at least 4 times, which never happened outside the 1 report to security over them.

In summary: The basis of this ban is under the assumption I was OOCly meta-grudging someone for taking a job slot, when all I did was report something they did for purely IC benefit, as well as a warning over being aggressive. Granted yes, I was annoyed at them OOCly, but despite the claims nothing was brought over ICly. As for the warning that set the precedent for a full ban, I feel it's largely unjustified in the first place, as the AOOC behavior at that point was already handled, and I was an antag and can expected to act hostile in IC.

I also want to mention after cooling off I do feel bad about the insult. I've had a really bad week (dog at the vet, having to work overtime, ect) and I let it leek into my attitude, and I apologize.

I warned you because you pretty much said the following:

Then, from what I saw, you went to report them to the rd and security, while the character in question did attemp to communicate with you, your character just got really defensive/agressive without any ic reason. From what I observed, you were pretty much pissed oocly and  taking it in character, doing your best to get him fucked over. If it was not by the aooc stuff you said, I would have no reason to suspect that.

Now, I banned you because you went in aooc and called them cunt after they killed you when you came down with security and tried to grab one of his bombs, which is pretty much ignoring whatever I told you in this warning, and just solidifies that you were pissed at them oocly and acting under it. But, since you are arguing that my warning and the ban was wrong, I don't see any reason to unban you, because that is not what unban requests are for;

That's not what happened, and it makes me sound like I was meta-grudging them. Security was already down there without me. They searched me as well. And by 'grab one of his bombs' I did physically pick it up, but then I picked all 4 of them up. Not aggressively, but moving them to count them. Towards the end, I put one back together to test it on the range, as I already stated, but Terry was the one who instigated hostilities and attacked.

Being annoyed with someone ICly and OOCly aren't mutually exclusive. The fact I wasn't able to do my job and make bombs is annoying both as a player and as an antagonist, and using that as evidence of an OOC grudge is self-fulfilling. It's clear you're going to keep the ban, but you can at least stop making it seem I was maliciously harassing this person unjustly.

As I said, if you did not make any comment on them over aooc, I would probably believe it was all in character, but since you did went out of your way to call someone cunt over it, I am not really going to buy it. Feel free to make a complaint.
