Time of Incident: 22:30-23:00 Station Time Real Time: 01:00 GMT+3, 05/21/2020 Location of Incident: Engineering - Engineering Hallway, Security - Security Armory, Processing, Solitary Cells Nature of Incident: [x] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [x] - Neglect of Duty [X] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [ ] - Misconduct [ ] - Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: As part of our regular patrolling schedule, Officer Pewter and I walking down the Engineering Hallway leading into the department, when we spotted a large Republic of Elyra flag covering a warning sign with the label "SECURE AREA" on the wall, as well as the sight of the fire alarm present within the department. As the Apprentice and the Chief Engineer were busy smoking cigarettes within their departmental area despite the presence of numerous "NO SMOKING" signs scattered throughout the room, we took it on our hands to remove the flag properly. This caused an unnecessary fit of rage against myself and Officer Pewter, who carried out the removal of the flag from the wall, and the name calling and threatening with IA action started on their end. They, at one point, returned to their department and promptly built structures that could easily be described as walls behind the main windows and the airlocks to block off vision and access to the security, for reasons unknown to us. We firmly and calmly reminded that the flag was covering the sight of the fire alarm and the warning sign on the wall, and insisted that this was a breach of Corporate Regulations under i113, when Mr. Zadeh responded with further name calling, threats and verbal abuse after summoning the owner of the flag, Station Engineer Ammadi to the scene. He took it more professionally compared to the behavior of Imran Zadeh, who were adamant on pursuing verbal abuse on us, still. Once the situation was dealt with, and some of the involved, including the owner of the flag, Mr. Hammadi, were calm, Imran Zadeh proceeded to refer to us "Two dickheads harassing us constantly" which I believe falls under i109 Slander or Verbal Abuse in Corporate Regulations, and told us to "Fuck off, the pair of you, leave and don't come back unless it's important". Once we obliged with their demands and returned to our department, we noticed a power outage involving the majority of the department, most importantly highly secure and sensitive areas. This involves the Holding Cells, Processing Cubicles, Reception Desk and the monitors within, Solitary Confinement Cells and the Armory. I requested the station-bound Artificial Intelligence to power the department back up, which was carried out by them with a warning that our power would fail in less than two minutes since our department power was not charging. I asked the AI the reason why our department power was not charging, which they replied "Unable to Provide Information." I proceeded to ask the AI to inquire about the power outage to the Engineering Department, Shortly the AI returned to me with a status update, which stated that their inquiry on the power outage was ignored. Short after the scheduled crew transfer shuttle docked within the station, our power was restored. I believe Chief Engineer Imran Zadeh voluntarily cut off power to our entire department in a fit of rage, what I would assume as an unprofessional act of revenge, which put highly sensitive locations like the Armory, Holding Cells and Solitary Cells at risk and staggered our performance greatly, as they could or would not state any reason for our power outage. After confirming with the Warden on-duty Travis Black that they, in fact, did not leave the Armory open, I compiled photographic evidence and this report to present to the CCIA. Telecommunications logs can be examined further. Submitted Evidence: Spoiler Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: No, as the only present Head of Staff or superior was the offender. Actions taken: Removed the personal possesion (Republic of Elyra flag) blocking the warning sign, took photographs to present as evidence of the areas affected by Vandalism and the Power Outage.
