SleepyWolf Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 A Unathi Deputy position working alongside Sleepy, Shen, and the rest of the lore team is now open! I am the Unathi lore writer, and I'm looking for another deputy to help out with various arcs, articles, and wiki additions that will come to Unathi lore! I am seeking someone who feels they're capable of working with others, writing articles with a dramatic flair, and is willing to help rewrite wiki pages to be better organized and include up-to-date lore from story changes. For this application, I would like you to use the standard application format and post in in the 'Developer Applications' board. You will also be able to choose from one of these: Write a short novel (500-1000 words minimum) writing of your choice pertaining to Unathi lore, or your ideas or plans for Unathi lore. If you have something to add, something to change, you can talk about it here if you wish. Write an article for Unathi - able to be published on Wasteland Window or Sinta Articles. This article can be about anything - A self-contained single-article story, a continuation or finale of the Coronation Arc, the start of a new Arc you'd like to begin when you start writing with us... Even an alternate history article if you'd like, but still in the style of Unathi writing. If you are accepted, this article could even be published and canon! A drawing YOU HAVE DONE that you would like added to the wiki, or for an article. A drawing can be a thousand words, and will say a lot about how you view Unathi. Remember that it should be done in a timely manor - don't use 10-20 hours to draw if you know you wouldn't be able to hold yourself to that standard while writing with the fast-paced lore team. Simple sketches are accepted. Remember to only choose one of these! And, enjoy creating!
SleepyWolf Posted June 25, 2020 Author Posted June 25, 2020 Another thing for those working on writing an article: Formatting should be easy for you, but if you have troubles with formatting just know that I will almost completely be focusing on the writing aspect of the article, and not the formatting. Formatting is easy to learn when you begin, because you can go back to other articles and steal theirs. There also is not a consistent formatting 'ruleset' or whatever, so just do whatever feels right for you, and whatever reads best. ALSO: Post your articles either UNDER or WITH your application. Under meaning, as a comment like this. And don't forget to also do the default standard application, which is...
