DaTruRiZZoB Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 (edited) Appealing Personnel: Julian Chet Specific Incident: INCIDENT REPORT - 9/29/2462 Action taken as a result: Suspension, Demotion Action contested: Demotion Reasoning for contest: I feel after multiple shifts back as an apprentice I’ve learned my lesson in maintaining and generating power for the station, and feel like that I’m viable to be promoted back up to a Station Engineer. I also believe that my skills are above those of an apprentice and that I’m taking up a valuable place in this station for apprentices to learn in. I can also state, that I’m an able Engineer, and have enough experience under my belt to be promoted back to a higher position. Additional notes: As I was told by my internal affairs agent that having a Chief Engineer that could vouch for me would aid me in the process of creating this appeal, and Tankred the Chief Engineer was able to vouch for me without question, even after learning of my past events and what caused me to be demoted. Bear Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 (edited) To: Julian Chet From: CCIA Division of Appeals Subject: Appeal 11/18/2462 _______________________________ BODY: After review of the case files of the investigation, we believe the punishment put in place was appropriate and we believe a bit more time is needed to understand the gravity of the situation. The engine setups are very costly, and tampering with, dismantling, or altering them in place for experimental projects that will need to be torn down at the end of shift is a dangerous process. The reallocation of station funds without proper approval, as well, is not a matter taken lightly. While you state your skills are above an apprentice, after combing through the interviews, I worry your ability to work as a team member still remains a matter of subject. We believe currently, continuing your apprenticeship is more valuable for you to build your team-ethics and communication skills. At this time, this appeal will be denied and the demotion will remain in place. You may appeal again on December 1st, 2462. _______________________________ DTG: 20-14:22-TAU CETI STANDARD-11-2462 Sign: Saul Walker Edited November 20, 2020 by Bear
