ErshOurHerzog
BYOND Key: Ershovdi Character Names: - Ka'Akaix'Sotis C'thur - A very meme-able C'thur Vaurca scientist. - Thadeus Proteus - Based investigator on break. Species you are applying to play: Zhan-Khazhan Tajara What color do you plan on making your first alien character: Dark Gray, RGB (0,0,0). Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes, it is very interesting, for a furry xeno race. It is very detailed and worked out, but it took me a long time to read everything. Why do you wish to play this specific race: I love the chaotic nature of Tajara as a race. Some may even think that Tajaras are all about cold war, revolution and freedom. I don't really like the fact that they're basically big antropomorphic cats, that makes them silly to play, but the lore is so good it's worth it. It gives a lot of opportunities for a lot of different character concepts. Almost every Tajara character on the server is very different from each other. One day you can meet a cute, fluffy cat that likes nature, and on the other day you meet a ruthless lion that hates all Hadiists. Something like that. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Well, obviosly, it's the chaotic nature of all the Tajarans. They're are the only xeno-race in the universe that is so divided and immature, I would say. If we're talking about mechanics - Tajaras have a whole lot of languages, they can see in dark (that makes them great spies and saboteurs for antag gimmicks), but they also take and deal more damage. From a side of game design those mechanics make me want to create a freedom fighter. Character name: Jribekk Drajulmir Please provide a short backstory for this character: Spoiler Jribekk was born in The Free City of Crevus right after the First Revolution ended in year 2431 CE, in a family of Zhan-Khazhan tinkerers who crafted different types of tools and devices - mostly simple things that helped in everyday life. The neutrality of Crevus did not last long. After the Republic's sudden economic decisions that provoked crime rise, Drajulmir family was caught in the Raghmara Clan's affairs with other criminal organizations. Jribekk's mother basically created his moral compass, giving him the standards of good will and kindness, as well as Ma'ta'ke belief, the "standard" for Zhan families. Though, Jribekk did not go further than casual belief. In the year of 2442 Jribekk was only eleven years old. At that time crime organizations gathered together under Rahmara Clan's rule to start the bloodshed on the streets of Crevus. That's when Jribekk begun stealing food and items from those who did not need them anymore. The life was not normal at all - it only created fear and despair. But Jribekk started to get used to it. He saw that ruthlessness and violence could be great tools of punishment of those who are a threat to the safety - and that's how he started working for the mafia as a teenager. The dark fur and great skill of hiding helped him to survive. He had become an adult in the year 2450. Inspired by the concept of Second Revolution, Jribekk finally sided with the criminal organizations and the Liberation Army. The City of Crevus became one of the cities that helped the rebellion. Jribekk's job was creating weapons and machinery for the Liberation Army. This experience helped him to get the basics of engineering. Following this knowledge, the Raghmara Clan helped Jribekk to get in the Shastar Technical University. He became not an exceptional student, but a very good one. Some professors found him too disobidient and violent. One day Jribekk was almost thrown out of the University because he went too far trying to protect a weak friend from a strong Tajara with questionable racist views. After the graduation from the University, Jribekk started looking at the political situation on all of the Adhomai. He quickly became a fan of the Bloodstorm band because he found some of the songs very relatable. Jribekk decided to leave Adhomai because he got tired of the cold war and the constant fear that Tajarans will destroy themselves one day or the other. He got to the Mendel City and started looking for the contract with megacorporation to survive legally, using actual skill and education. That's where his story on the Horizon starts. What do you like about this character?: Jribekk is a DPRA citizen who has a very dark past because of the city he was born in. Crevus is basically Gotham on Adhomai - at least that's how I see it. He is the type of person who will try to justify crime of others and even do crime himself if it's for the right cause. He is also pretty good in engineering - that's who I will play as on the server. His personality can create a lot of interesting situations. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I only do what is fun for me and for the people, while trying to stay in character. My main problem on this server was my broken english. Hell, it's still broken, but I don't feel so bad about it now. Anyhow, I can create interesting situations, I am confident about that. So, you have that. Alberyk
Just a tiny mistake, the plural of Tajara is just Tajara. Some questions: Which Al'mariist school of political thought he relates the most with? What are his objectives with going to Tau Ceti? What is he strying to achieve? Link to comment

Okay, got it. 14 minutes ago, Alberyk said: Which Al'mariist school of political thought he relates the most with? Jribekk relates to the Moderate Al'mariist school of thought the most. He thinks it's the most simple, peaceful and logical school of thought that does not necesserally destroy other political views and gives freedom for Tajara, while also protecting off-world Tajara. 17 minutes ago, Alberyk said: What are his objectives with going to Tau Ceti? What is he strying to achieve? He is running from Adhomai. Biesel Space is one of the least xenophobic places in the known universe and it's kind of a center of the xeno-society where you most certainly *will* find work if you have an education and experience. Overall, Jribekk wants to make his life more safe and interesting at the same time. Being on Adhomai does not give any of those things - it's in the constant state of some kind of war - a cold one, or a bloody one. That's what Jribekk thinks, of course. Link to comment
