Player Complaint - UltraNumeron

Reason for complaint: Numeron spent the last around forty minutes of the NEAR Security-less shift teleporting into several departments, security in particular, stealing lockers, breaking them open and turning them into teleporting closets for a "Teleporting closet cult" within the center ring, with the help of a cadet, who was the only security staff on shift and conscious. After it was ahelped and it was deemed LRP by Mel, assuming the next response was spurred on by whatever Mel told Numeron in the ahelp, Numeron then commented in OOC after round the following remark.

"OOC UltraNumeron: I do kind of wish it was a bit clearer on what is too lrp for aurora, didnt want to do anything too fucked up and serious there with how long it had been and so few sec"

I was going to leave it alone until that comment, this player admits to not being able to understand what is unrealistic or LRP about their gimmick. 
You must maintain character at ALL TIMES. No suiciding to leave the round (ghost or use cryogenic storage), and no random grief at round end. Avoid chucklefucking.
While I can understand wanting to antag up and not be "too fucked up or serious", there are other ways, millions of other ways, to generate interaction and roleplay in this server's setting, in mild or peaceful manners as an antag. Numeron has been playing this server for about a month or two now and mostly as an antag, I think its reasonable to know what is acceptable on this server after such.

Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? Yes, I ahelped Melararia and was told the player was talked to, I contacted staff again after the ooc comment was made and was directed here.

Aye, it was a long round and I had latejoined as a traitor, there wasn't much going on from what I could see other then some bluespace lockers going around so I decided to play into that as I didn't want to start any large conflicts so late in where transfer was likely to be called any minute now. It did start as just that, building more and more lockers to make people freak out, which it did. Using psionics to set lockers into more restricted areas unnoticed. So it was mostly just a harmless gimmick overall of creating intrigue using mysterious teleporting lockers, along with using psionics to telepathically project visions to people.

The cult stuff happened I believe when the officer was collecting and confiscating the lockers, with telepathic messages being sent to get him to avoid doing so, claiming the lockers to be divine, which worked in preventing them getting confiscated and eventually did end up with the officer playing into it and joining to spread lockers around, with us having a good time.

Now in hindsight it probably was a bit LRP even if it did kind of make sense in character with good buildup and . But in how I saw it at the time it was a relatively harmless way to make the round interesting when not much was going on without stressing out the few officers around too much. I think I do have a pretty good idea overall by now though, but don't see what's bad about wanting less ambiguous rules?  As not everyone shares the same views of what is acceptable in the vague terms they are defined. Especially with terms like the above quoted rule, with everyone remaining in character and chucklefucking while being understandable to apply to that situation, a psion telepathically convincing people to worship and spread lockers  that inexplicably teleport people didn't feel too atmosphere breaking at the time at least. 

I would also be open to hear your million other ways to lightheartedly antag on lowpop three hours in.

I am still looking into this. I have a few things to ask.

@UltraNumeron You have an antagonist ban on file, and from what I can tell - it wasn't lifted. How were you playing Traitor during this round? You received the ban, August 11th 2023. This round happened on the 24th. 

Also, what are you not understanding about the HRP environment here? Clearly something is being mixed up..

It was a 3 day ban, what was not exactly understood here was what is deemed too silly and outlandish even if it is properly built up throughout the round and not particularily outlandish when it comes to antag gimmicks.

I am going to be placing a permanent ban from Antagonist for you. Almost all of your offenses are Antagonist related. I think you need to sit back and watch other gimmicks to begin gathering an understanding for what is acceptable from our antagonists, and what is not. 

The question you need to ask is - "How does teleporting all over the ship, stealing lockers and generally being 'chuckle-fucky' drive a narrative and impact the round? Is there interaction and an appropriate story being built?" And in this case, none of that was checked off.
