Some might act like humans, but they’re not. While there is a broad range of synthetics which span the whole range of behaviours, the important things are they’re very much a product of their environment, and act accordingly as such they will carry out jobs that humans might i.e, janitorial staff or flying, ipcs can be used to fill slots that would normally be taken up by a human when there is no human available for the job

In order to get an IPC whitelist, you have to make a character that's an IPC you plan to play on ship. Ghost roles are naturally more expressive and fluid than ship statics, so it's important you know what goes into making a fully-fleshed-out character that can believably exist in the setting. Not a lore dev/whitelist member, but I ought to save you the trouble.

That said, I loved Essie, Nicole, and Kazuhiko is fun. Consider this a +1 from Rem "The" Ratsuken (me) for when you do get your WL because I know your roleplay quality is very, very up to snuff.

Yes, as all whitelists, IPC whitelists need a character and a keen understanding of the lore no matter if it's "Just a ghost role" or not. Ghost roles rely even more on the lore as they expand in to lore beyond the Horizon. Please come back with a character and express understanding of the lore regarding IPCs and their nature.
