Remember to score an article below! This here day marks the firstmost transmission of The Sacred Echoes of a Titan's Bonded Progeny into the Voidic Rootsong Network, a day to surely remember as our great Commonwealth outstretches its tendrils wide to the Spur beyond Titan’s Rapture. Beneath is faithfully transcribed the first words of our Cetus, for the many dionae not in the void or within its reach to hearken: “Dionae of the Orion Spur beyond, we greet you as The Sacred Echoes of a Titan's Bonded Progeny. Expect to continue to hear our words as we speak to you the news of our homeland, Hieroaetheria. On the planet below us and the colonies not so distant, our serving split gestalts collate news, decisions of the Grand Assembly of the Commonwealth, and unique Hieroaetherian experiences for us to share with you. After our first cohort of gestalts return with their stories, we shall begin broadcasting regularly. We serve and thank the Commonwealth for this unique opportunity.” Our Cetus, Bonded Progeny, was assembled by the Grandest Assembly as part of a most ambitious initiative to create a Cetus that acts as a node within the Voidic Rootsong Network, capable of broadcasting Rootsong at immense scale. Designed with neutrality in mind, our Cetus is a conglomerate of nymphs from the many noble nations of the Commonwealth of Hieroaetheria, aiming to adequately represent each of the Consortium, Ekane, Gla'orr and minor nations. The first cohort of gestalts, our fond split-partners and ourself too, spake of by our Cetus were released the week last ahead of our Cetus’ first transmission. Many of us were tasked with the humble sourcing of news material for us to return to our Cetus with and share on our reabsorption. Many of us, our sedulous gestalt too, have been dispersed throughout the Hieroaetherian community to dutifully transcribe the Voidic Rootsong transmissions otherwise inaccessible to those obscured by an atmosphere or too distant to heed. Our gestalt brings this news to you itself and endeavours to continue to accurately transcribe our Cetus’ transmissions for those planet-side or not of dionakind to attend. Caelphon Posted July 14 Posted July 14 (edited) Beginning of the Communem Audere Arc Article #1 Consortium of Hieroaetheria extends an invitation: The Consortium has invited the Golden Deep to Hieroaetheria, following the latter's intention to become more involved in interstellar affairs. The Hierophant Writer [55 - 77%] • posted 2466-07-14 from In Orbit of Hieroaetheria. Here marks the second transmission of The Sacred Echoes of a Titan's Bonded Progeny into the Voidic Rootsong Network, unveiling that the Consortium seeks to host the Golden Deep on Hieroaetheria. Beneath is faithfully transcribed words of our Cetus, for the many Dionae not in the void or within its reach to hearken: "We seek to proclaim the desire of the Consortium to expand their influence across the stars, in that with the establishment of the Golden Deep's intention to expand their diplomatic prowess, it is thought necessary of the Consortium to broaden its horizons. Such desire was rooted only moments after an urgent convening of their Chambers to formally recognize the Golden Deep, and by extension, Pactolus, as an entity of diplomatic interest." Further listening is available here. Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship opened the urgent convening with a rather remarkable speech that sought to gather support for the tabled discussion: “It is without a doubt that it is necessary for the Consortium to establish themselves as a minor power within the Orion Spur, one that intends to better not only Hieroaetheria but the greater Spur. We take heed of the call of diplomacy with the Golden Deep’s public intention to begin interacting with the Orion Spur. They have extended their hand, and it would be inconducive to not accept the opportunities that they present. We ask that the Chambers strongly consider recognising the Golden Deep as an entity of interest.” The Chamber delivered its decision only moments ago, confirming the Department of Planetary Affairs’ statement, in which the Golden Deep and Pactolus were recognised as an entity of interest. Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship has therefore formally invited a delegation from Pactolus to Hieroaetheria to commence discussions as to the possibility of a future relationship between the two. Caelphon Posted July 20 Posted July 20 (edited) Article #2 of the Communem Audere Arc Chairman Attempts to Quell Unrest: The Consortium undergoes some domestic turmoil following the invitation of the Golden Deep to Hieroaetheria. The Hierophant Writer [56 - 76%] • posted 2466-07-20 from In Orbit of Hieroaetheria. Here marks the third transmission of The Sacred Echoes of a Titan's Bonded Progeny into the Voidic Rootsong Network, in which the Consortium experiences domestic, political turmoil following the Golden Deep's acceptance of their invitation. Beneath is faithfully transcribed words of our Cetus, for the many Dionae not in the void or within its reach to hearken: "We have been made aware of the dozens of demonstrations that have cropped up across the cities of the Consortium, most criticising the decision of the Chairman to engage with the Golden Deep. We have sent our journalists across the Consortium to gain additional insight on the demonstrations, in which they seek to insert themselves to uncover the reasoning behind the parties opposition to the arriving Golden Deep." Further listening is available here. Journalists from the Hieroaetherian Herald have submitted their transcripts, which have been attached below. The identities of the journalists and parties in the demonstration have been kept anonymous for the handling of personal information obligations placed on the Hieroaetherian Herald. Spoiler Interviewer #1: Why are you here today, what made you join this movement? Skrell #1: It's obvious! They’re inviting Synthetics to partake in our democracy – ones that flaunt their wealth, earning it from their crimes. When I left the Federation, I thought the Consortium had the same ideals. I have clearly been misled if they believe they can skirt diplomacy with synthetics openly, especially with our history. Interviewer #1: What history are you talking about here? Skrell #1: Really? Glorsh-Omega! Are you daft, who are– Interviewer #1: Thank you for answering our questions, and the recording is considered ende–... Spoiler Interviewer #2: Do you have a few moments to give an insight into why you’re here today? Dionae #1: Possibly, whats it to you? Interviewer #2: We’re just trying to get a better understanding of the protests today. Dionae #1: We don’t see the point in allowing these … capitalistic so-called beings to run rampant here, we have a good system going, and we have enough trade partners as is, for what reason do we need to introduce a foreign entity to our way of life? Interviewer #2: Don’t you think that the introduction of the Federation, in part, was also once upon a time considered a foreign entity that wanted to destroy our way of life? Dionae #1: Well. No– No, you’re thinking like those Unitaries now. They came here to help, and help they did. We wouldn’t have half the technology we do without them. Interviewer #2: Who says the same can’t be done with the Golden Deep? Dionae #1: We don’t want to answer any more of your questions. Interviewer #2: Of course. We will move along. Recording ended. Clear. Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship has also attempted to quell the unrest as a result of the invitation to the Golden Deep, doing so in an address to the Consortium Chambers that was broadcasted to its territories. They decided to take a rather different approach, in consideration of previous practices relating to increased tensions across Hieroaetheria: "We recognise the uncomfortable nature of this agreement to many of our citizens, particularly the Skrell or Skrell-adjacent Dionae. However, it is necessary to understand that this invitation does not mean the Golden Deep will have unbridled influence over our way of life. Far from the contrary. The Consortium, with the best interests of the public in mind, have sought to diversify our diplomatic efforts so as to grow closer to the Orion Spur’s interstellar community. The Golden Deep is merely one of many actors on the stage, and it would be an insult to not recognise them as a potential ally in these concerning times – especially as the Phoron Scarcity worsens, and inflation begins to affect the lower socio-economic classes." Some demonstrations have broken up following the announcement, however, there are a minority still gaining momentum across the Consortium, particularly in Nral’daaq or Epigenia, where the Consortium Chambers have become a hotbed of anti-Synthetic sentiments. Politicians have sought to highlight that the Consortium is a honeypot of cultures, and to be so intolerant of Synthetics is a sign that those who demonstrate against the decision are merely prejudiced, and not truly fulfilling the ideals of the Consortium. The Hieroaetherian Herald also wishes those from the Consortium of Hieroaetheria a blessed "Touching the Stars" day. Translated from Rootsong. Caelphon Posted July 23 Posted July 23 (edited) Article #4 of the Communem Audere Arc Consensus Reached: Golden Deep invitation stands. It is necessary to expand the diplomacy of the Commonwealth, without it, they shall rely only on others when they must rely on themselves with others. The Hierophant Writer [58 - 75%] • posted 2466-07-23 from In Orbit of Hieroaetheria. Here marks the fifth transmission of The Sacred Echoes of a Titan's Bonded Progeny into the Voidic Rootsong Network, in which the Grand Assembly has decided to allow the Consortium to continue with their affairs. "We announce that the Grand Assembly of the Commonwealth of Hieroaetheria convened at the urgent application of the Union of Gla’orr, in which they cited concerns of state sovereignty being infringed upon by the Consortium of Hieroaetheria. After hours of debating, a consensus among the representatives of the respective member states has reached a simple majority: the diplomatic efforts of the Consortium of Hieroaetheria have not breached the Constitutive Act of the Commonwealth. A transcript of important moments in the seating can be found below." Further listening is available here. Below is a transcript of the discussions: Quote In the middle of the rather magnificent room is a large, round table made of marble. Around it sit the figureheads for the member-states of the Commonwealth of Hieroaetheria – there are five of them, with only the Eternal Republic of the Ekane hosting more than one due to the political nature of the faction. They are locked in spirited discussions, entirely in Rootsong. It has been translated into Tau Ceti Basic for non-Dionae to be able to comprehend. Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship: Paragon, the Grand Assembly has been called to convene as a result of concerns regarding infringing sovereignty by the Consortium, how does one justifiably call it an infringement of your sovereignty? Paragon Carver of Order for a Unified Future: It is not merely only the Consortium that will be influenced by the presence of artificial beings, it is the greater Hieroaetheria, including the Union of Gla’orr. The Union has made it clear that extraterrestrial interference will not be tolerated, and yet the Consortium routinely engages with non-Dionae in a manner that would bring their opinions to the Commonwealth. We can not sit idly by and allow for the Consortium to bring these unwanted beings to Hieroaetheria. Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship: It cannot be said that the diplomacy of the Consortium violates any sovereignty of the Union of Gla’orr, in what way will the Union be considered impacted by such invitation? The Union is not involved in any discussions with the Golden Deep, and provided they wish to sustain such a practice, they can maintain it, but to call for the cessation of all diplomacy for Hieroaetheria is an infringement of the remaining Hieroaetherian States’ sovereignty. Ecclesiarch Sanctified Seeker of Holy Communion: The Eternal exists throughout the greater Universe in many ways, one such method is artificial beings. Though they may be faithless, and adhere to an illogical worship of materiality, it cannot be denied that they may possibly bring additional resources that would benefit the faithful. Despite being abhorrent heretics, they may still bring advantages to the greater Commonwealth. We do not agree that the Consortium’s doings infringe on any sovereignty, but that this meeting is a farce to delay proceedings by the Union of Gla’orr. Paragon Carver of Order for a Unified Future: It is both plain and simple. The Golden Deep will infest and change our way of life, much like the others before it. This is history repeating itself! We will not be a party to such a gross violation of our independent social, economic and political development without external interference. We have the right to self-determination, as written and agreed upon by the Constitutive Act. Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship: You have the right to self-determination, as do we. We have chosen to engage with them, and have not requested the rest of Hieroaetheria to get involved. That is the fact of the matter. Additional debates on the subject continue, following a few minutes of arguing, Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship calls for a vote. The Consortium and the Eternal Republic of the Ekane both appear to agree, with the only dissenting opinion from the Union of Gla’orr. The vote is considered to have passed by a simple majority, and the Golden Deep’s presence shall not be considered a violation of state sovereignty. Translated from Rootsong. "We are pleased to announce the arrival of Domadice, alongside several other selected members from the upper echelons of the Golden Deep society, who have landed within Epigenia, welcomed by hundreds of thousands – a sight to behold. Its arrival has marked a new era for the Consortium of Hieroaethera, and by extent, the Commonwealth of Hieroaetheria. Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship greeted Domadice before both were seen engaging with one another." Further listening is available here. In an astonishing display that captivated the masses, a large, Golden Deep craft made a grand appearance, drawing the attention of a crowd of onlookers. People of all ages gathered, their faces a mix of awe and curiosity, as the spaceship hovered above, its lights and mechanisms emitting a soft glow. The crowd can be seen cheering as it finally touches down to Hieroaetheria. Domadice, alongside several other persons, steps out of the vessel before greeting the onlookers with a simple, yet elegant, wave. Those in attendance essentially created an impromptu parade, dozens of street buskers and pop-up stores aimed at selling various tidbits to the crowd. It wasn’t long before celebrations broke out, shortly after the Golden Deep Envoy was escorted into the Chairman’s modified, red Poplar Classic – a sleek, yet extended design to accommodate foreign officials alongside the Chairman. Aligning closely to the Touching the Stars celebrations, many have actually taken time off to continue in the festivities, glad that the Consortium has sought to reinforce the ideals that they promised decades ago – an inclusive, welcoming environment not just for Dionae, but for all sophonts in the Orion Spur. Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship is expected to join the entourage as they travel through its cities – beginning of course with Epigenia, and ending in Republica’s Landing. This comes just days after their arrival, and initial discussions for expanding diplomacy with the budding interstellar actor." Further listening is available here. A brief view of the beginning of the tour. Quote The grand hall of the Federation Embassy in Epigenia is bustling with activity. Delegates from various parts of the Consortium mingle, entering and exiting the large building. The camera then pans to Domadice, who remains still as they observe the building for some time. Chairman Embodiment of Tranquil Stewardship briefly appears to attempt to move the delegation on, after a few more moments Domadice follows. Dionae Reporter #1: In a historic visit that captivated the city's residents, Domadice, the enigmatic ancient architect, made a public appearance in Epigenia. Known for their reserved demeanour and profound wisdom, Domadice's visit marks a significant moment for Hieroaetheria. Domadice was seen observing the city's architectural marvels and engaging in discussions with local leaders. Their visit shall commence at the heart of the city, near the Federation Embassy, where the blend of modern Skrellian structures and traditional designs stands as a testament to our city's rich cultural tapestry. Despite demonstrations against their presence just weeks prior, it appears to have subsided entirely as crowds swell to enormous sizes to watch the delegation travel the Consortium. Although Epigenia is clearly the largest population within the Consortium, it is expected that the crowds will remain somewhat full, with many cities scrambling to quickly adjust to the flocking tourists wishing to catch a glimpse of the Chairman, as well as Domadice. "As Bitbyte has interviewed the Chairman, the Hieroaetherian Herald has sought to do the same for Domadice. The enigmatic being was placed before esteemed journalists and reporters, to which questions were posed and subsequently answered." Further listening is available below. Quote What do you think you can contribute to Hieroaetheria? The Golden Deep from my analysis, can offer any nation it interacts with access to economies, rarities, and goods from all civilizations in the spur from one simple outlet. As opposed to negotiating separate deals with many individual companies, many of whom may not have your best interest at heart, the Golden Deep is prepared to trade following the same creed of mandatory principles across its mercantile empire, as long as a fair trade is offered in return. Hieroaetheria’s unique populace and biology opens many avenues of possibility to which I will allow my compatriots with me to set forth their ideas on the negotiating table. I, however, during my tour have noticed some.. Inefficiencies that I believe would threaten our interests here due to the potential influx of a synthetic population. I believe my adjustments made should suffice in preparation. What do you think of the current political tensions of the Spur? I hardly mean to offend but they seem so small. So trivial. The lust for greed not only from the domain I am inheriting, but from every aspect of the civilizations there within has brought about an intense inefficiency. But it is not my home to shape. I am content with being a guiding hand. What do you hope to see in the next 5 years? From these negotiations I would enjoy a stronger sense of unity and cooperation. There are many aspects of life that these civilizations have not yet even begun to grasp or understand. So many misconceptions. So many blind endeavors. But that is what makes life exciting. The grand adventure into the unknown with the ones you trust by your side, and that is what I hope to guide this summit to. You’ve been asked this before, but what was your time like? A persistent question. An inevitable question. And one where I could spend years speaking on to divulge the differences between your society and mine. You already know of the war from the intrusion on the planet of Konyang, and the remnants of the beacons that plague interstellar vessels. I suppose one difference simply to explain is the rudimentary grasp of what these civilizations refer to as ‘bluespace technology’. For them, a grand invention, evolutionary, with an obscenely inefficient reliance and utilization of the compound known as ‘phoron’. For us. Or well, for me. It is a fundamental part of operation. Something as fluid in utilization as breathing is for you. Movement, construction, transportation, recreation, weaponry, creation. It is a pillar of our society as steel is for these civilizations. A foundation to allow us to learn to new heights. Do you see any similarities to the current geopolitical environment to the one of your origin? No. The denizens of the Orion Spur are concerned with matters much too small, much too self interested. But that is an understandable concept, and no one should feel shame. The path to progress is draped in strife, and if this is the challenge these civilizations have chosen to embark upon, then I will act in advisory until I process what to venture to next. Caelphon Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Article #9 of the Communem Audere Arc End of the Arc Chamber’s Announce Approval of Proposal: The Golden Deep and Hieroaetheria sign Concordat The Hierophant Writer [62 - 76%] • posted 2466-08-24 from In Orbit of Hieroaetheria. Here marks the tenth transmission of The Sacred Echoes of a Titan's Bonded Progeny into the Voidic Rootsong Network, in which the Consortium of Hieroaetheria and the Golden Deep sign the Pactolus-Hieroaetheria Concordat. "We are pleased to announce that the Consortium’s Chamber has approved the Concordat between the Consortium and the Golden Deep, setting the stage for what could be a significant step towards interstellar cooperation for States that have previously been called “inconsequential” to the greater Spur – the approval process was marked by intense debate and rigorous scrutiny, and key issues discussed included the terms of the proposal, the objectives to be pursued and the potential risks and benefits – and after thorough consideration a majority voted in favour of the proposal." Further listening is available here. The proposal aims to provide comprehensive services for both the Consortium and the Golden Deep. It seeks to establish the Pactolus Exploration League, with the aforementioned States comprising its only members as of this date. The Pactolus Exploration League seeks to offer protection to the newly established HeartGold Mercantile Corridor – an interstellar “highway” between Hieroaetheria and Pactolus that will exchange goods necessary to create, and further expand the Pactolus Exploration League. The Pactolus Exploration League comprises obligations levied on both States – the Consortium, in conjunction with AstroTerra Enterprises, seeks to rapidly innovate their bioterraforming capabilities. The Consortium has agreed to commence such operations across Pactolus, a win-win situation as they further begin to understand bioterraforming, but also allow the Golden Deep to expand further across the planet. As additional biohazards are removed, the Pactolus Exploration League will commence chartering Pactolus and begin to catalogue the species present – therefore the exchange. In cataloguing the native flora and fauna of Pactolus, genetic material and information will be packaged and sent to be studied within the Consortium, much similar to the Greenhouse Education Centres of the Nralakk Federation. These studies will be jointly conducted by the Golden Deep and the Consortium. The Golden Deep has expressed an interest, following the studies, to begin operating within the Consortium in selling these genetic materials and information – which has been agreed upon by the Consortium. Boggle08 Posted Wednesday at 02:54 Posted Wednesday at 02:54 (edited) Xenobiologists on Pactolus Make Surprising Discovery: Previously Unknown Species Unearthed Flora and Fauna Adaptations Suggest Rapid Evolution Post-Cataclysm By The Hierophant Writer [63 - 77%], posted 2466-12-17 from the Reach Expedition Zone. Here marks the twelfth transmission of The Sacred Echoes of a Titan's Bonded Progeny into the Voidic Rootsong Network, centring around the Pactolus Exploration League in which the discovery of unknown species has caused quite an alarm across the Consortium and Golden Deep. “In a groundbreaking development, xenobiologists stationed in the Reach Expedition Zone have uncovered an ecosystem teeming with previously unknown species, some exhibiting characteristics that suggest rapid evolutionary adaptation. This discovery, made by a joint expedition under the Pactolus Exploration League, has stunned scientists from both the Consortium of Hieroaetheria and the Golden Deep, igniting a flurry of research efforts to better understand the implications of the find.” Further listening is available here. Located within the rugged mountains west of Eurydice, the Reach Expedition Zone was initially thought to be a barren region. However, the discovery of intact ancient power facilities sparked new interest in the area. While engineers focused on restoring the dormant energy systems, xenobiologists and ecologists turned their attention to the surrounding environment—and were met with astonishing results. Xenobiologists described the discovery as “unprecedented.” The expedition unearthed a thriving ecosystem, with species of flora and fauna that had never been documented before. Early analysis suggests that many of these organisms may have evolved in response to the energy emissions from the ancient power facilities, leading to mutations that are both fascinating and perplexing. “Many of the creatures and plants we've found exhibit adaptations that don't match the known evolutionary timelines,” explained an on-site xenobiologist. “It’s as though this environment was subject to an accelerated form of natural selection, possibly triggered by the technology left behind by pre-Interstellar War civilisations.” What has particularly intrigued academic circles is the apparent link between these biological anomalies and the ancient power facilities buried deep within the mountains. Initial theories suggest that the power systems, despite being dormant for centuries, may have emitted low levels of radiation or energy that affected the surrounding environment. The xenobiology teams have already identified several mutations in the genetic makeup of local organisms that indicate a possible interaction with these energy sources. “The mutations are remarkably uniform in some species, particularly among the flora,” said Dr. Ver’lyse Qin, a xenogeneticist specializing in post-cataclysmic environments. “It’s as though these plants have been feeding off the residual energy, adapting at a rate far quicker than we would expect in a normal environment. Some have even developed bioluminescent properties, likely a response to the subterranean energy flows.” While the exact nature of these mutations remains under investigation, the Pactolus Exploration League has committed to further study. The League has deployed additional drones and sensor equipment to monitor environmental conditions, focusing on potential energy fluctuations from the ancient power systems. Translated from Rootsong.
