What color do you plan on making your first alien character?:

A very deep, dark red-brown color. However, the base Tajara shading makes it hard to get especially dark colors, so it might turn out more medium-colored.

Have you read the lore pages for the species you wish to be whitelisted for?:

Yes, extensively!

Why do you wish to play this species?:

Out of all the races to choose from, Tajara are the most compatible with my way of playing. Himeo, Vysoka, and Visegrad are my favorite planets to pull from, and I always felt inclined towards Tajara in general. I enjoy their concept greatly, and I think it fits closest to how I like to roleplay.

What makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a human?:

Besides the granted biological differences, including mechanical ones--low-light vision, faster running speeds, longer leaps, claws--the culture you must understand and embody is rather far removed from usual human planets’ cultures in Sol or the Coalition. However, compared to Unathi and Vaucra, I feel it’s the perfect balance of alien-ness for me.

How have the recent events of the Orion Spur impacted your character?:

I’ve read through the Arcs, but as far as I can tell, none of the events I’ve read about necessarily apply to his life. The most recent event to seriously impact him and one of the central points of the story was the Third Tajara Ban, in which he is deported from Visegrad and forced to go into debt with NanoTrasen to finish his degree.

How does your character view the megacorporation they work for?:

As a Populist of the New Kingdom of Adhomai, Rrhazumar shares much of the political distress about megacorporations and their meddling in Adhomian affairs. However, he understands the reality and tends to think of them much like any other country; they all have their secrets and hidden atrocities. At the end of the day, he is tolerant of NanoTrasen but is mostly just enthused to realize his life’s dream.

Rrhazumar Jahidov - A Highly Trained Professional

Rrhazumar’s father grew up near Olska when the First Revolution broke out. He witnessed firsthand the ransacking and destruction the Rasn’rra Colony Militia brought, and the freedom that the Kaltir Expeditionary Force returned to the town. The events moved him so much that he volunteered for the war effort, and marched with the troops in 2426 to what would become the Siege of Dolor.

He decided to stay in the wetlands of Dolor after the Liberated Peoples of Harr’masir were defeated. Although he was prepared to continue volunteering when the Hadiists attacked, Kaltir’s surrender was a great surprise to him, and the executions of the nobles were the first of many growing straws of his bitterness toward the People’s Republic that would come to be in the years ahead.

Dolor was where he ended up meeting and marrying his future wife, and Rrhazumar was born in 2435 one year after their marriage, growing up in the wetlands alongside two brothers and sisters. He grew up during the early years of the Republic and was afforded a better, if still meager education, though his father stoutly opposed the indoctrination of the schools and kept his young son aware of the truth.

He was only a boy when they moved to the newly industrialized town of Nusinisk, seeking jobs in the oil refinery closer to the Kaltir homeland, and came into contact with Royalist cells there. His father gladly agreed to be a part of the effort out of eagerness to finally fight for his country, but Rrhazumar was consumed by fear for himself and worried about losing everything from war.

The supposed return of the Azunja Dynasty was the reason for great celebration in his family. As a young man of 14 at the time, Rrhazumar was expected to take part in defending his family’s heritage. But he couldn’t bring himself to fight alongside his brothers, joining the refugees running to the east to escape the conflict, and he never saw his family again after deserting them.

By 2450, he had found work as a humble shaft miner outside Kaltir working for Zharrkov Shipping. Despite everything the PRA and his family taught him, he was greatly curious about the wider galaxy and its inhabitants, dreaming about what life could be like--what his life could be like. But no self-respecting school in Kaltir would accept a lowly Zhan laborer…

Rrhazumar worked as a Zharrkov Shipping associate for a couple of years, living as frugally as he could to save his credits for his future. He had come to believe that the only future ahead of him was one in Tau Ceti, so he spent what time he could spare learning Basic, and managed to save up enough credits to apply for citizenship and get a shuttle ride with just a few years of hard work.

He received his new passport and moved to District Six in 2453. Even compared to the lawlessness of Little Adhomai, his newfound freedom was worth everything to him, and he excitedly began looking for a university in Mendell that would take him. It wouldn’t be until 2454 that he found the right university, and began studying the sciences fervently now that he finally had his chance.

His logistics work continued under Orion Express and he studied Tau Ceti Basic professionally, graduating in 2458 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Xenology. Rrhazumar had set his sights on the Nowa Bratislava Xenosciences Research Institute over the years, seeking to establish himself as a proper scientist with a doctorate, and prepared to make his trip to Visegrad next year.

After a tense period of waiting, then by a much tenser visa interview with the Sol government following a year of delay since receiving his acceptance letter, he was granted the four-year student visa in 2460. His work towards a PhD went swimmingly up until 2462 when he was arrested and deported from Sol because of the Third Tajara Ban, right in the middle of his schoolwork.

Rrhazumar was jailed for several months for resisting arrest, among other minor charges, and only made it back to Biesel after his subsequent deportation in early 2463. He felt utterly defeated after his once-in-a-lifetime opportunity was taken from him, having spent the rest of his life savings to afford to go to the prestigious university. Now he was right back where he started.

He eventually picked himself up by his bootstraps and arranged student loans to afford another shot at getting his PhD, enrolling in NanoTrasen Academy after transferring his valid credits in Xenoscience, and simultaneously securing a future position within the company. The only way he could make due on his loans was to work it off with them, but at least his dreams were finally being realized.

In 2465, he graduated with a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, leaving the Academy as Dr. Jahidov to pursue a new job with NanoTrasen. It wasn’t until next year that he was chosen to study Anomalous Materials aboard the Horizon, preparing to realize his life’s dream any day now, and is currently arranging his stay there to begin his work as an educated Anomalist...

I am a bit unsure about the character being allowed into sol, because at this point two bands happened. Why would he could be allowed to enter and why they would go there considering everything when there are far easier places?

There is no information about the 1st and 2nd Tajara bans or when they happened. However, you said yourself that Tajara were at least allowed at some point, and the 3rd Ban describes a mass exodus of Tajara from Sol--meaning there were Solarian Tajara up until that point.

As for why he would be allowed, there's nothing really to deny him for other than racism. He has a spotless record, was never a part of any conflicts, has a consistent record of good business with Orion Express, and has a stellar Space GPA (pun intended).

The reason he would go to Sol specifically is because of the Nowa Bratislava Xenosciences Research Institute. He longs to know everything there is about space and other sentient life, and if there was anywhere to do it, it would be for the major facility on Visegrad that is, as far as I remember, the only school to primarily focus on xenoscience.
