Pokemon Teams for Your Characters

A simple question that I thought up the other day: what would your character's pokemon team be? It can be any six pokemon, and doesn't have to be six if you don't want it to be. I'll throw Ririlsk out as a start:

Ririlsk's Team:
H!Zoroark
Midday Lycanroc
Froslass
Excadrill

Funnily enough, pretty much each of my characters has a Showdown team I keep updated as I develop them. A weird quirk of mine to get to know their vibe, I suppose.

IRU-Shepherd's team as decided by me a long long time ago (so pretty much law)

The so called "Defenders of Operations", starring Casey Wildkins:

Garchomp for the extra ouch, Amoonguss (lol!) for the support, Corviknight as a solid flyer, Lanturn because we cannot forget a fish + water and electric, Gengar because Gengar and lastly Ferrothorn because of the massive defense...

Pham's mostly in it for pokemon they like instead of what's optimal. Lilligant's been her childhood friend since before they evolved in my mind's eye.

Alusuxa has the Idris provided team.

FUN FACT: A group of British people is called an "Innit"Bavawith6FUCKINGWEEZINGS(holyshit).png.eb62dd1fc3347729c1ed511e8043b382.png

On a more serious note:

Bava(1).png.798b7d48a5edcb33ea33f651e49adb83.png

Bavs here would be a steel-fighting kind of lass (with no pokemon that fit both types at the same time):

Galarian Weezing: Bava smokes and isn't really pleasant to be around. Also british.
Hitmonchan: it punches real hard
Machamp: it punches real hard x2
Tinkatuff: Tinkatink was actually Bava's first Pokemon, that for whatever reason didn't evolve until recently. It's now on a pretty steady corse to become a Tinkaton (wonder why)
Perrserker: currently Bava's favourite pokemon
Corviknight: smaller than other Corviknights due to living in enclosed spaces

Sunita's six pokemon come from different stages in her life and background.

Tinkatuff and Klefki come from the most recent years of her life - Klefki was purchased early on into her janitorial career due to both being useful and fitting her own type tendencies of fairy and steel, whereas Tinkatuff was a largely aesthetic capture that has nonetheless been fronting a LOT for her, especially on the Horizon.
Klink and Aron were both catches made during her childhood, especially her time in high school, on Valkyrie, and reflect a different set of priorities but nonetheless that she has always been, in this universe, something of a pragmatic steel-type trainer.
Florges and Copperajah, most especially the latter, are rarely seen in public but are overwhelmingly stronger than the rest of her team and only really for emergencies, though she spends time with them privately. They have known her since she was a young child, and are in fact her parents' Pokemon - Florges is her mother's, Copperajah is her father's.

Martijntrainercard.thumb.png.72f130080fdd9fb34a8098d60b475022.png

Most of Martijn's pokemon are Pokemon that were collected across the two decades of his Romanovich Cloud career - Both Armaldo and Archeops were revived from base form Anorith and Archen from fossils found while out on the job. Beheeyem attacked him fairly early into his mining career and was captured.
Claydol was originally encountered as one of a pair of Baltoy out mining with somebody in his backstory; he and this person each captured one Baltoy and raised them.
His Corviknight and Golem are different stories, having been with him from Reade; Corviknight was captured as a Rookidee during his brief stint in Reade gas mining as a young adult and Golem was a pokemon he had from a young age, initially a very small Geodude.

Servotrainercard.thumb.png.5712996d4631589966ddf4e38138be39.png

Servo, as a poor IPC, only owns three Pokemon.

Klang was given as Klink to Servo Beta by Hephaestus when they granted him freedom and is on paper his first Pokemon - but the reality is very different, which is why the only middlingly powerful Klang is his weakest Pokemon by an order of magnitude.
Golurk and Tyranitar are very old Pokemon that have a very particular relationship with Servo - when he was still an owned IPC himself in New Gibson, and not allowed his own Pokemon legally, he befriended a Golett and Tyranitar and maintained an out-of-ball bond with them for decades. Once he became free, he properly caught them; they're extremely powerful Pokemon, but much like Servo both showing signs of age, wear, and tear.

The others got me wanting to do Ririlsk properly, so:

RirilskKaisenia-Devorask.thumb.png.70bf73512d3e443d803b52643b0efffd.png

Excadrill: Ririlsk's first pokemon, given as a gift by his original father on his 16th as a Drilbur. The two of them have been through it all, and the mole has proven to be a welcome source of optimism during their days as exiles. In recent times, that good mood has improved even more, and it's not uncommon to see him out and about with Ririlsk in public. He is affectionately called "Drillbit" by Ririlsk.

Midday Lycanroc: Caught as a Rockruff during a shift in his previous work as part of the Mining Guild. Until the arrival of his third team member, Lycanroc was Ririlsk's confidant in darker/more depressing matters and his guardian in many ways. Be it from incidents in the planetary mines, or attacks by other sinta after his exile, Lycanroc has been there for the sinta. "Kata" is what Ririlsk has taken to calling him; short for Kataphract.

Hisuian Zoroark: She is the third member of his team, and one he never expected to meet. In fact, for a time, he hadn't even known she had begun to follow him- the only indication he got was a certain coldness when he slept, and times when those harassing him would suddenly appear terrified and run off mid-sentence. The reasons for why she chose to join him are something he still struggles to understand- though she can speak Sinta'Unathi through her kind's ability to learn and mimic, she refuses to tell him. He has a suspicion why, however. He calls her "Simi", primarily for the fact that she has often been there for him in some of his darker moments in recent days, in ways Kata or Drillbit can't be.

Froslass: The fourth member of his team, caught on an abandoned and strangely frozen salvage site after a short battle between her and Simi. A troublemaker in so many ways, she is a recent catch. He still doesn't know much about her- but he does know that, for some reason, she wants to stick around. So, he puts up with the shenanigans. He calls her "Jessie", simply because it sounded nice.
