Past Experiences/Knowledge: I've been the Head Maintainer, Owner, and Project Manager of my own github repo in SS14 for about 2 years, with a year of experience before that teaching myself programming. Although I don't run it anymore due to irreconcileable drama(ss14 is a trainwreck, and should be buried.) While operating that repo, I was also enrolled full-time at college as a major in Theoretical Physics. A significant amount of my programming experience involves relentlessly applying everything I learn in my classes, often the very night I come home after learning about something particularly interesting. I have also spoken at academic conferences about math programming, and will likely be returning this January to give a presentation about some of my works-- particularly in coding a Navier-Stokes based atmos simulation which runs in realtime.

Additional Comments:

• I generally prefer to go by Tyler or TCJ, as I'm a public figure with my real name tied to my github.
• My specialties in programming are in Physics and Mathematics. I regularly write my own equations entirely from scratch to solve specific problems. I even own a 48"x72" academic whiteboard which I use to both write and "Run" my own math code entirely by hand before putting it down to actual code. 
• I am capable of teaching others how to write code at a Calculus level

Two things:

• Feedback needs to come from active community members. I don't really care if a friend from 10 years ago comments with zero playtime in the last five years. How would you know someone's behaviour on the server when you don't even play the game?
• If I had a shot of whiskey for every single time I heard "aurora founder" in the past 3 months I would be in an ethilic coma. Enough of that. It's 2025 and what counts is now, not what happened 11 years ago.

I don't mind having to stand on only the interactions I've had with the server in the past few months, since I only meaningfully returned here not too long after christmas. But I've been active daily on Aurora again for about five months now. I'm sorry if this post was any offense, and can take down this application if you wish, maybe come back to it after a year.

I do not think your post is offensive and I think you have behaved well over the past few months on the server, no need to take the post down or anything. I only wanted to specify that we can't consider feedback from people who are not active in the community (otherwise, you could get a bunch of buddies that don't play to +1 an app, and we'd have to consider it as real feedback).

Your application will be evaluated as normal, obviously.

I will say your activity on the server has been very good, and have good interactions with the community and in-game roleplay. Looking at your experience and GitHub I think it's worth a +1 on this app to get another dev on the server. I can't speak for the dev/staff team and how you'll fit in there since that's not my place, but I think it's definitely worth a serious consideration to help lighten the load with big projects or fixing of issues. I hope your app goes well!

I think TCJ is a very neat guy from what I have seen and he knows alot of code, atleast, compared to me, which is alot, idk, but he seems passionate enough and well-versed in many skills like mathematics uhhh, coding, thinking, that I think he is a fair enough fit for this kind of role. If he was accepted I think he would do well, though obviously as jasorn said I don't know how the staff team would fit you in or how they feel but it is a +1 on my end, I feel confident enough from my conversations and what I have seen from your PRs, though I don't understand them most of the time.

I worked with this guy making sprites for him for his BioAugments PR and the process was really smooth, concise and clear. His behavior in server and our community as well has been nothing less than stellar as far as I've seen. I think he'd do great on a team as a reputable and reliable individual!
