Overview of the Incident:

During the Horizon's R&R visit to the Sandbox beach planet, I had had a fair bit to drink. I will admit that. But this is an R&R visit. To be expected for some time off. I was alleged to be disruptive, yet aside from falling asleep, I had not harmed any of the other crew other than passing by whilst being drunk. I will admit that I had tried to serve a drink prior, though this was not a major disruption that the XO painted it out to be.

Under instruction from Captain Diallo, they were sent to reprimand me for being disorderly. I accept this charge, however, I do not accept the way the punishment was carried out.

Upon being found, I walked over to the XO as it seems they wanted to have a conversation from me. They proceeded to grab me and make an example out of me by gashing my face open with their horn. I sustained blood loss from this and immediately ran from the gross misconduct carried out.

There is a medical scan for injuries sustained, see evidence.

The Captain initially sent the XO back to the ship from the planet. I was unsatisfied from the charges, injuries sustained exaggerated my intoxication from the loss of blood, causing me to pass out and be further made an example of. The medical personnel on standby commented on this. It should be noted that I did not drink at all past the initial trying to serve someone at the bar. The Captain then was going to charge the XO with Battery upon return to ship, but shift change resulted in the charges not being pressed.

Submitted Evidence:

Medical Scan, post incident. After being patched up for bleeding and administered first aid.

[x] - Yes
[ ] - No

Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? Yes, Captain Diallo.
Actions taken: Captain was to charge the XO with Battery upon return to ship. Charges were not filed due to shift change.

Additional Notes:

The situation occurred in a public space, there should be multiple witnesses from the away day who were near the bar when it happened. However, due to my intoxication and head trauma, I am unable to sufficiently recall further witnesses.
