Shadow
BYOND Key: SenpaiShadow_ Character Names: Tobias O'Green, Samuel Hatherway, Saul Stainforth, John Coldsmith, Nahar At'ha (IPC), Kyra Hill, Sham Ishtar, Jason Stamos, Murphy and a few others I never/rarely play. Species you are applying to play: Tajara What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): Chocolate (RGB 94, 38, 18) Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: Mostly because I like playing xeno races and I think Tajara is good race to play if you like xeno races, also because they have a well developed lore with many information about their background, culture, etc which makes creating a Tajara really interesting. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Mostly because, they roll the R when they speak, also they speak about themselves in third person. Besides that, they need special hardsuits, gloves and sandals also their ears and tails with which they can show some emotions. Another thing would that the war left a mark on many of them. Character Name: Nahar At'ha Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Nahar, born in 2425 in Adhomai, spent his childhood on a farm together with his siblings and his mother. His father was the owner of a small workshop that offered tool and repairs. Nahar often spent his afternoon in the workshop of his father, building small things and sometimes helping his father with repairs. They soon left Adhomai because of the war. They abandoned the farm and the workshop, and they spent their last money to buy a small shop on biesel where they worked and lived. Once again, they started a workshop there. During his time on Biesel he witnessed the construction of androids and it fascinated him, so, with the little money he had he bought some robot parts and started to build. Failure was often the result, but one lucky day he constructed a small clean bot that kept the workshop clean. Proud of the little machine he started to build more of them, each of them unique, many of them not working, some of them did. His family decided that it would be the best if someone trained in robotics would teach Nahar. After said robotics lessons the teacher offered him a job in a local robotics job which he accepted. /Fast forward a few years/ After he quit his job in the robotic workshop and got hired as Lab Assistant he left Biesel and now lives in the Odin. Working there for server years as lab assistant he witnessed as many androids got constructed and repaired. In 2455 he got promoted and now was a Roboticist on the NSS Aurroa. What do you like about this character? His vast interest in androids/cyborgs and robotics in general. How would you rate your role-playing ability? It's hard judging myself, but, I guess a 7/10? I am bad at judging myself. Notes: Thank you for reading the application. Edit: - Edited the name. I have no clue why I used Isra as name. Link to comment
Dreamix
Where's Jamison Jason Stamos, the HoS? Murphy was included in the list of your character names this time, at least. Anyway, Tobias is a fairly competent research director that actually cares about borgs and AI's. Samuel is a good head of personnel, too. Saul is a skilled engineer and chief engineer. Murphy is a good AI, cares about the crew and his borgs, tries to pull off gimmicks during malfAI's, and is generally good AI, without nothing to complain about. I did not interacted enough the rest to tell how good, or bad they are. About Nahar Isra, his backstory is okay, could have been a little more descriptive or detailed, but that couldn't be possible without making him a half-borg space war veteran, or bringing some unnecessary "beatings about the bush" and other bullshit. It's just a normal, usual cat, and I believe that Senpai can handle roleplaying as Nahar. +1 Edited September 4, 2015 by Guest Link to comment
moltenkore
Let me start of by saying "Well..." -quoting Saul Stainforth! Senpai's characters are always well thought out and planned. As Kix I love interacting with Saul Stainforth in engineering bringing some much needed conversation out in the quiet times between explosions and / or chaos. I look forward to seeing this character brought to life in game and maybe with my own Tajaran app they would have semi-extended interactions because of where their jobs meet. (Roboticist and Miner) I approve of this app +1 Link to comment
