Reason of Ban: Reason: End of Round Greif. Attack logs after the shuttle docked

Reason for Appeal: I think I should be unbanned because Maurice Beck attacked me first with the syringe gun and i didnt even know the round had ended. I dont have much experience as changelling... And before the shuttle docked i managed to kill the guy who acusated me to security before on the round (Raegan Ewing).. I throwed him into disposals and then went to the disposal area. I thought it was a good time to test or figure out how to extrac the DNA from a person being a changelling. So the protesys thing didnt work.. i was trying.. trying.. still not working... Then figured out i had to press the transform button when holding the person on the neck. And then a wild guy appears FROM DISPOSALLS (he throwed himself i dont know) "Maurice Beck" And shots me with a syringe. I was covered in blood and doing my changelling things didnt even notice the dock was arriving. I proceed to defend myself and attack him. Since im noob i grabbed him pasively instead of hiting him at first and the guy was punching me... The fight wasnt short but ended me killing him.. When i looked the round had ended and i was banned . No one asked me what happened or anything.

 

 

honestly this was a huge mess, a mix of

1- Learning how the changelling absorb thing works

2- this guy who appears from nowhere.

3- the same guy attacking me with a syringe gun (and me thinking i was going to be sedated or something so decided to act fast)

4- not being aware the shuttle had docked with all those things going on

PD: i think i grabed the syringe gun from floor by accident too and started clicking it. It was so messy i still dont understand all the situation

but i dont find it fair getting baned like this without being asked what happened before.. This guy really took me by surprise and im pretty sure i would not have attacked him if he had not appear so agresevely from nowhere. --l> (Please correct me if this phrase is bad translated )

Please consider my unban appeal. I think im really improving at this server and i dont enjoy playing other servers anymore. I consider my RP is improving a lot and im finally starting to understand how much important talking in ic is ,to make others enjoy the round.

End-round grief is punishable by an automatic 3-day ban. The moment the shuttle docks with the station, all conflict is expected to end in and around the shuttle boarding area. (Escape and adjacent corridor). No conflict is allowed on Central Command, after shuttle arrival.

You said this occurred in disposals? Did you log immediately after or something? Where did you initially kill the security officer at?

I killed the guy "Raegan Ewing" 2 minutes before the shuttle had docked the station ( i remember counting the minutes left to not break the rule) You can check the logs ( idunno if there is a timer at logs or something)

Then i throwed him into disposalls from cargo. and decided to go take his adn at the disposals room (not the one at cargo. The one at arrivals) but i took longer than expected since im really new at this changelling thing.

Then in the middle of that when i was taking the protosys or that changelling thing. The guys appears and when he started the fight ,probably the shuttle had docked

And no, i didnt logout.

Im confused where did i kill who?

I killed Ewing at cargo and we had a lot of RP before during all round.

And i killed Maurice at disposals near arrivals. Since he appeared from nowhere, shot me with a syringe gun and saw me all covered in blood doing my changelling things and absorving Ewings DNA

Next time what i have to do is, let him attack me or call an admin and not defend myself. Am i right?

Well no and in fact I'm a little confused. From the explicit warning of our rule regarding EOR you should have been fine continuing conflict in disposals and cargo. Either there is more to this you aren't telling me or xelnaga made an error in banning you. You said you weren't PMed? Did the round restart normally and you found out you where banned that way?

I was, at the time, the only really active staff at the moment and the shuttle had already launched. It was a pretty hectic round and I was struggling to keep up with a few things. The shuttle had docked with the odin by the time your logs cam through and when I jumped I didn't have much time to register everything. It started with you messing with SSD characters and then the fight, so my reaction was to ban you both at the start of the next round. I want to apologize and I am willing to lift this immediately.
