Universities/College/Academy lore?

I was thinking while I was writing some of my character's back story, should there be some lore approved universities/colleges/academies on certain planets? I mean if so far we have to talk about cities and stuff, there may be some historic places where spessmen study and train, right?

Meh. That can see this working. I mean, hey, meeting your old college buddies at work, that's an interesting dynamic.

I sometimes keep track of where my characters got their education, but I can see the need for Place of Education Lore.

If you place it within an established area (e.g. Mars, Luna, Biesel), it would only require like 1 or 2 'buy ins'

Well... for my geneticist character, I always called one on Biesel the Biesel Institute for Medical Sciences...
