EvilBrage Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) So tonight, I'm getting an error where Dream Seeker stops responding once it reaches the ad screen. Can't seem to bypass the ads, and therefore, I cannot play - anyone else having the issue? Edit: Solved - I've got details for those who want them. Go into Internet Explorer. Right-click the top of the screen and click "menu bar." Select "tools" then "active X filter" so that there is a check beside it. Launch Aurora again. ??? Profit. Edited December 30, 2015 by Guest

Skull132 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Relevant. If you have a fix other than the one I posted, please do post it.
Dea Tacita Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Going on IE, menu bar, tools and then "active x filtering" fixes it fine.
EvilBrage Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 Going on IE, menu bar, tools and then "active x filtering" fixes it fine. This one. Much less cumbersome than uninstalling security updates (which, by the way, is a very bad idea.)

nanotoxin Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I tried this, and instead of opening up to an ad and crashing, my entire byond client stops responding as soon as I click the join/replay button. Anyone have/had that problem as well?
Killerhurtz Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I actually have an alternate fix. I'm a BYOND subscriber and I didn't crash because it removed the ads.
Kirk Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 So how do you fix this on Windows 10 which has Microsoft Edge?
Skull132 Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 You should still have internet explorer. Open the start menu and type in "Internet explorer". It should still be there.
