Damarik Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Recategorize Data Disks (Viro/Science diskettes) to Small so they fit inside of boxes. It is a pain trying to sift through stacks of them that are just lying on a table, and it makes the work space look cluttered as hell. Right now, they don't fit. Please change. D:

I understand that, for visibility, we don't actually use a 2px microSD card, but seriously? If needed I can totally code a few holocubes for this purpose, too, so that they look better. The only reason I can see why it's like that is because the nuke disk is also a disk, and so changing the size would allow the nuke disk to be hidden much better - like in a box, or say, inside the captain's chest cavity.

Isn't the nuke disk a totally separate spritem? If that's the case, leave that one as its original size and just change the master disk sprite.

Damarik Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 Actually, it may be easier just to use the already available Disk Boxes in the code and just type up a new type of box for whatever department needs it. Apparently, we've got disk boxes...but only in Genetics/XenoBot(newcode).
UnknownMurder Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 I'd like to recommend to change to the research specifically flash drives, micro SD, or memory cards as we should keep update to we currently have in 2016 to our knowledge, we can't predict the future like Star Trek and Simpsons did but we should at least have what we know. @Killerhuntz, do you mean holoboxes as in Holocrons (Star Wars)?

The shape doesn't matter as much as the function - just generally some ultracompact storage device that actually looks like it would fit in a reasonably-sized box.
