Baka Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 BYOND Key: bakagaijin Player Byond Key: Tytos_Tyris Reason for complaint: Tytos has a habit of joining in as Chief Medical Officer, and after thirty minutes of playing, he will go AFK for most or the rest of the round. What made me decide to make this topic was this nuke ops round that ended today at 8 EST. At the beginning he was active, but when people were screaming for help for broken bones, he was idling in escape and we didn't find him until later. I feel like if you cannot play as a head of staff for the rest of the round especially in a game mode where head leadership is vital, he could had at least told his team that he was going SSD or cryo'd himself. It's a nasty habit to have, and while I am guilty of this at times, and real life things do get in the way you really shouldn't do this as a head of staff.
Frances Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 He is to give us a heads-up if he is to AFK as a head, or put himself in cryo. I added a note to his account. He is to be warned of this on the next incident, and if it happens again after that, his whitelist will be removed.
Vittorio Giurifiglio Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Yeah I'm really sorry about that....my battery as I often complain about dies a lot, And sometimes after restarting over and over again (My chargers wire is bust) due to a slight movement of the Labtop, I give up and leave it dead, And sometimes I just have to go unexpectedly and instantly if anyone knows the common phrase used by mothers " Get up here now! or you computer is gone!' which due to lack of another option I have to go maybe for a while maybe for a little. I will try not to join in rounds when I know I have little time, sorry about this.
Frances Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 And sometimes I just have to go unexpectedly and instantly if anyone knows the common phrase used by mothers " Get up here now! or you computer is gone! These are the situations in which you send an ahelp that you have to get going pronto and have no time to cryo. It doesn't take more than 10-15 seconds to type up a message, and it'd be greatly appreciated. Then we can cryo you if necessary (you can rejoin the round should you come back), or at least know what your head's status is. Running out of charge is excusable, but unless the emergency literally involves someone dying, simply send a few words our way as a heads-up.

Frances Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Yeah I'll make sure to next time. Thank you. Well, unless Baka has anything to add, I think that concludes the complaint for now?
