Guest Marlon Phoenix Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Internal Affairs has no request console, and should get one ASAP! In addition, while 2 agents are ideal, the room only has a single camera and recorder. They should get these ASAP!
Owen Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Yes, this was requested right when the map change happened. We need this along with the employment record consoles back. Internal Affairs Agents are loyalty implanted and can be trusted with the records.
Jboy2000000 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I think the current state of suggestion that involve changing the map will be a no. They're working on a new map already, and if m line of thinking is correct, they'll say its a moot point to change the map when we'll have a new one 'soon'
LordFowl Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I am perfectly willing to perform small functional alterations like this. They take 0 time, and can be packaged with the next code-update. I'll need to cooperate with Skull on using the github, however, so this one might take time.

I already have github setup on my end, with my own fork, and know how to use it.

For formality's sake I would have to review every revision and give it the okay, so that no chucklefuck sneaks in an invisible pulse rifle. Otherwise I am also perfectly fine with community submissions.

SierraKomodo Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Pending final say from Skull, by the sounds of it, here's what your new IA office /may/ look like (I also took the liberty of adding security and employment record consoles)

Nanako Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Otherwise I am also perfectly fine with community submissions. I didn't know this. I have a million tiny ideas for extra tables or disposal inlets, and other things that are barely worth making a thread about. might look into doing this
Jboy2000000 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I don't like how one of them has the employment records, and one of them has their table crushed by the sec records. Maybe a better idea would be to make the IA's ID's give you access to medical, security, and employment records when you put them in a labtop, and then spawn two in the IA's office for them.

That's beyond what I can do with a simple mapping change sadly.
Jboy2000000 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I know, but I think thats something that'd be cleaner, less obtrusive, and maybe even more helpful than giving them static consoles.
