Narrow click/action delay function timers a bit

Okay, I personally hate how in our current code that it requires 2-3 more clicks in order to process a function such as putting a lid on a beaker and then putting it on a nearby table. Rounds do not often last long past 2 hours anyway, there's no reason to make delays between interaction so long, it's silly.

Being forced to play a slower game than what we were used to on the previous code is not fun. Return us to the old way of how actions were processed so that jobs like chemistry, xenobio, medical, security... well, it actually includes every job in the game that requires picking up items, moving items, etc. Right, so that we can overall make the game more bearable and fun to play so that the things we intend to get done, do actually get done.

I'm not referring to spam clicking, btw. The system handles spam clicking by further increasing the delay between actions, I refer to timed and singular clicks being able to perform actions easily and effectively.

Fire delay should still stay the same.

I think this is a great idea, although if at all possible, keep the same delay we have now in combat, and just make actions like using items and putting them on tables, etc., faster. I prefer slightly slower combat, as it prevents RNG from instantly fucking you over the second you go down.

Why do you think this is server enforced?

I'm 90% sure it's just lag, either in your connection or the server.

because your character actually faces the direction of your click but the action isn't taken,

this is a special bay !!FEATURE!!

Is this a serverside issue? I just always assumed I had connection problems. I'd say this would be a healthy and productive change, given the amount of times I have to spam click things in menus before they register.

This is true, sometimes. Other times it just does the facing and action in one step. it seems a little confusing and inconsistent, which is why i suspect performance issues. but i could very well be wrong

FWIW, i've noticed i seem to have more success if i hold the button down for a short time (0.25secs or so) before releasing, clicks seem to go through more consistently that way

you need to have made an action right before that to notice it, try moving a beaker from a table to your left to the one on your right real quick, you would understand what i mean by this, holding the click down means the command to put something is sent on mouse click release, which by the time you released the delay is over
