Reason for Appeal:

I've only caused OOC to be muted two times in all my time on the server. The times I caused this, I totally understood why, but those were over a week ago. When I said "I love dicks all the time", we were having a conversation about PERSONALITY, and my words just slurred. Nobody seemed to mind me saying that, and I even said my apologies afterwards. For the past few days, I've kept my mouth clean. I'm learning what this community finds unacceptable. I've kept it PG-13 for quite a while. I'm sorry if me cussing a lot is bad, and I've never been told NOT to cuss a lot on server.

Anyways, I'd like to request that my ban at least be cut down a bit. 2.5 days is a lot of time, especially away from a community you trust. I have a ton of friends on the server, and would just request that the ban is cut.

These were all logs I fetched from your OOC in the past week. Meaning these are recent, very recent events. Frankly, there's a lot of them - I believe you're currently the person who is the most disruptive to OOC as of late - and while most disruptions happen because people generally tend to argue very aggressively, then get booted from the server, your problem is that you seem unable to keep your mouth shut when you should, and although that might not be as grave, it does pile up and become an issue nevertheless.

You have also been warned twice about OOC conduct. After having several discussions with the mods (and other users calling you out), you should have a general idea of what you should and shouldn't say in OOC. The fact that you've continued the very same behavior you've been talked to several times about proves to me that warnings have been ineffective - a ban comes as the next measure.

Now, to make sure this ban actually serves its purpose, it's time for us to open dialog again. I'd like you to pinpoint exactly why the logs I posted above are problematic, and suggest a plan of action you can put in place to ensure further incidents of this kind do not occur.

I'd rather you actually answer my questions. Namely,

I'd like you to pinpoint exactly why the logs I posted above are problematic, and suggest a plan of action you can put in place to ensure further incidents of this kind do not occur.

You were banned because you were unable to heed previous warnings given to you. Now, the purpose of punishment is more than "you break this rule, you pay the price". It's both a dissuasive measure ("don't do this") and a reformative measure ("we don't want you to do this"). The last thing we want is for people to go "oh, I've been banned, whatever". Rather, I'd prefer you actually examine your behavior in detail, and understand not only why you were banned, but what you can do to avoid getting banned again.

Because I can give you a guarantee, that I've given everyone: I won't play games of escalation. There's an issue, the issue has been brought to you. If you're unable to address it, we won't give you ban after ban that you can ignore; either you show us that you're able to modify your behavior, or we remove you from the community due to your inability to integrate. And I'm confident you don't want the latter happening. It's thus your job to fix your mess, and prove to us that you're actually fixing it - if you have no interest in doing that, you won't be headed anywhere.

And this is why I want a longer reply than "I'll deal with the ban".

Alright. The ban's still being held for its remaining duration due to being a repeat offense, but I feel a lot better about this (and your chances in the future) after having read your post.

Cursing isn't a problem. People curse all the time, for various reasons (sometimes to be hilarious), but as long as the curses aren't overly memetic or exaggeratedly crass, they're plainly acceptable. It's the context of the conversation that really matters - and as a general rule sex isn't a topic that will fly well in OOC, considering some people will always be immature about it.
