Starting to play the AI Athena How long have you been playing on Aurora?: I have been on for about a year now but was inactive for about 6 months... but I am back now Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I would like to be on the whitelist because I feel like I would be a good RD because I have had multiple shifts where I am the interim RD and it worked out well Why did you come to Aurora?: I came on Aurora because I was bored and looking for a server to stick too Have you read the BS12 wiki on the head roles you plan on playing?: Of course Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplay is the interaction of two or more peoples characters that they create. Roleplay is fun for all and it shouldn't be a thing to get mad about. After all it's just a game. Roleplay should be fun for all parties, and it shouldn't add OOC sources to changed characters. If a character doesn't like it they should ask for help during it. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: I think the purpose of heads of staff are to keep their department running and active, and in the case of an emergency, be an acting captain to deal with a threat. The heads of staff should be able to stay calm during crisis situations and be able to control the station if needed to. Heads of staff should be able to be trusted by the people and be friendly. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: I think the OOC responsibilities of whitelisted players are to stay calm and not get upset. Whitelisted players should be a role model for people to look up to. I would uphold these because I am mostly calm unless you get me mad, which is really hard. I like to help people around and show them if they don't understand. Please pick one of your characters for this section, and provide well articulated responses to the following questions. Character name: Edgar Dawnguard Character age: 37 Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): Edgar was born into a large family in the Sol System, with two brothers and a sister. Edgar also has the creative mind, using his toys to make new things. When he was in school is excelled in math and science. Edgar always had a joking way to mess with people. He liked to pull pranks on people as long as it didn't affect them. Edgar was always experimenting, making new things. He always was in the science clubs and things in school, and he always wanted to make new things, no matter what. After he graduated high school he got a scholarship to attend collage. He attended collage for eight years. He graduated with a degree in robotics and a degree in Xenobiology. After he graduated, he was asked by NanoTreason to work for them. He gladly accepted and worked in the science department of multiple stations. As he bounced around on station he worked in Research and Development, Robotics, and Xenobiology. He met new friends on these stations. With many years of experience behind him, NanoTreason asked him to work at the NSS Aurora. He was then transferred to the NSS Exodus for reasons (Ahem Station Blowing up) What do you like about this character?: I like Edgar because he likes to mess around with people and play jokes. He would stay calm during crisis situations, no matter what. Edgar is one of my favorite characters. He has made a lot of friends on Aurora and always has a friendly attitude. What do you dislike about this character?: One of the major things I dislike about Edgar is his ability to get arrested for small reasons. Since he likes to mess around when nothing is going on it tends to get him in trouble. At least once every three rounds Edgar is in the brig for some odd reason. What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: I think Edgar would fit because he is mostly calm and can be very calm in crisis situations. He likes to stay positive, even during crisis situations, he would help out the people stay calm. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: I think my roleplaying had gotten better over the few months I was gone and that I am here to stay now. Extra notes: I can't think of anything. However, I think you have a bit to go before you're ready to handle any management or administrative situations, your view on the OOC role of Heads of Staff is also rather IC based, so that could be worked on too! I'm the Administrator of the ACN (or rather, my character Zion Thrusk is), also known as the Administrative Coordination Network! It's a group made up entirely of Heads of Staff and a few non-whitelistees that have joined in various support-roles such as at the Operations Office. We'd be happy to have you join us as a 'Trainee', and we could even work to hook you up with a Head of Staff to mentor you ICly as a co-leader! We'd be a great resource for you to ask various questions and run situations by, and maybe by the end you could get a few endorsements on this! You're very quiet sometimes but you have the most knowledge in Research, and I respect that. You also portray good RP in some cases. Not to mention, you're also very determined to be accepted into whitelist application. +1 Link to comment

I suggest you take some more time to rp on the station, expand a little on the character's life between graduating and now, and remember that you can advertise your application in OOC once per round if and when you reapply.
