Fire and Glory Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 (edited) Let us review the various traits of the kitchen knife compared to other knives. It is a 'normal' size item, which means it only fits in backpacks or special storage slots like the chef's apron, in comparison, virtually every other knife can fit in your pocket. You can not put it in your boot. It is the only knife capable of butchering animals. (It is also the only mundane knife usable for scalpel surgery steps but I digress.) With all this put together, I feel it is clear that kitchen knives are supposed to be a large, moderately difficult to store knife specially made to cut through meat and the like. And yet the sprite is exactly the same as any puny knoife you cobble out of steel, which I think does not give it credit. TL;DR turn the kitchen knife's sprite into a bigger, more intimidating, different-looking knife pls. You could also just replace the thing with cleavers but I feel a few people might get outraged regarding the role a cleaver plays in butchery. Edited July 18, 2018 by Guest
LordFowl Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Voting for dismissal. Kitchen knives are already pretty large in the icon size department.
Fire and Glory Posted July 18, 2018 Author Posted July 18, 2018 To be honest I just want it to look unique, since currently it shares its appearance with its completely ineffectual counterpart leading to confusion.
Jakers457 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 They look pretty identical to the standard table knives. I'd say flip this around and make table knives look more like something you'd have a table and not at a serial killer convention.
