Overview of the Incident: Names redacted for privacy. Dr. Lilah Novi reanimated [REDACTED FOR PRIVACY] , an individual with a Do Not Clone (DNC) notation. When this individual was cloned, their mental state was distressed. They proceeded to rampage within the Medbay before an undisclosed Officer resolved the incident. [REDACTED FOR PRIVACY] was pronounced dead following the incident.

Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: After arriving aboard the NSS AURORA, Captain Vitellia alerted me of the incident that had occurred before my arrival. I received the case paperwork and faxed them to the CCIA COMM RELAY promptly. Due to time limitations, a crew transfer shuttle was called, and I had to resume this case at a later time. No Chief Medical Officer was present during my time on board.

Actions taken: During the shift, Dr. Lilah Novi was terminated from their position within the Medical Department. An injunction placed by Captain Vitellia barred them from medical practice or entering the Medbay in the shift. Captain Vitellia requested that I bring the matters of negligence and medical malpractice to the CCIA for review and investigation.

 

OOC NOTES:

This round was difficult. I joined the round after the incident occurred. I was immediately requested to fax CC about the issue. Upon faxing over the info of the incident, the round underwent crew transfer. Because of this, there's a ton of holes in this IR. Officer name, deceased individual, etc, all were not within the paperwork done by Viatorem upon them being handed to my IA character. I understand if this is dismissed, but I was ICly ordered to post an IR. Thanks.
