Zaeperry99
What kind of sick medbay asks somebody to donate blood, takes said blood, and then gives them jerky? What sort of horrid doctor treats a Head of Security's chipped nail and sends them off with nothing more than a pat on the back? A bad medbay. They could be boring ol' candy, or they could be like Goon and have a tiny bit of tricord for the tiniest boo-boos / iron for blood donors, but Medbay needs lolipops. In a box on the desk, or in storage, or something. When a paramedic saves a life, they haven't given that person enough. That person needs a lolipop. Thanks for listening to my extremely over-dramatic and relatively sarcastic suggestion. Please feel free to air opinions / suggestions of your own in reply. LordBalkara
Make it so you can choose not to eat it entirely, but instead put it in the mask slot like a cigarette. Or maybe even make it so that's how you eat it. Either way, easy +1 from me. Link to comment
NoahKirchner
+1, I see no downsides. Link to comment
Munks
Can't the kitchen make candy? Just place an order, you know, interdepartmental interaction? Link to comment
NoahKirchner
Can't the kitchen make candy? Just place an order, you know, interdepartmental interaction? Â Nevermind, I rescind my +1 because I forgot that the kitchen can, in fact, make lolipops. Link to comment
Zaeperry99
Can't the kitchen make candy? Just place an order, you know, interdepartmental interaction? That is a really pretty good point. Edit - After trying out the inter-departmental form, I can confirm that nobody would do it - or at least, I wouldn't. Between lollipops requiring both a chef and a botanist and the fact that for some reason they won't go in boxes?? Whatever the case, I feel like a pre-planted lollipop jar would definitely be less of an inconvenience. Link to comment
Zundy
We have lollipops? That's not on the wiki *eyes wiki maint team* It's a no from me as it discourages interdepartmental roleplay. I appreciate you found it difficult to set up, but we already have enough issues with department microcosms popping up without adding more levels of separation. You could always get the CMO to request it from Chef/HoP. Edited spelling: i am speak english Edited January 13, 2018 by Guest Link to comment
Munks
Agreed, its a convenient fluff thing to have and not so critical as to circumvent interdepartmental cooperation. It just needs fruit planted from the garden to be handed over to the chef, or even just "candy" from the vendors, for chocolate-flavored lollipops Link to comment
Zaeperry99
Right then, seeing the really good points raised, I'll go ahead and call this /thread. Link to comment
