Billy has a smoking habit, and so will often light up in moments of stress. Or relaxation. Or anytime he has an excuse and isn't in a no smoking zone, really. And often uses a lighter as an additional source of light in the dark.

How will you use this to better interact with crew and/or stimulate RP?

It's a bit of memorabillya(heh) from his past, and given it's obviously visibly different nature, people will be likely to notice it, and ask about it, leading to questions about who he is and where he came from.

Additional comments: If the text for using it could be edited to say "Moretti's Zippo" instead of "the Zippo", so people are more likely to notice it, that'd be nice. In addition, though I don't know how possible this is, if the light it gives off could be blue-shifted to fit the flame's color, that'd also be neat, and mean it's more likely to be noticed. I'm not saying give it a glaringly blue light that blinds everyone in the vicinity, just blue enough to be noticed.

The light color thing can probably be done as we do with glowsticks, if I had to guess. I'm sure we can do that, I think.
