I noticed, right off of the bat with this situation, that you did not have the upper hand at the beginning of this hostage situation. You were outnumbered, and more importantly, outgunned. If I saw someone take hostages, and I had a shotgun, you'd better believe I'd take the shot. As well as, there were multiple off-duty officers in the bar. There was also a Security Borg wandering the hallways just outside of this whole event.

Well. Nazai'i would be very, very dedicated to following the Corporate Regulations, and the Standard Operating Procedure. He'd also make sure that those around him followed the Corporate Regulations, and the Standard Operating Procedure. He would pursue criminals as soon as he learned they had broken a law, and would look down upon anyone who had served any time in any sort of prison. When it comes to other races, His view on humanity is neutral. They are too varied for him to feel any sort of opinion on them. On Tajarans, He feels that they are all criminals, and that they have all broken laws by having brought down their government. He would always assume they are behind some sort of crime. He has no opinion on Skrell, or Kocaslanni. In short, a law abiding citizen, who goes out of his way to make sure that the law is upheld. Whenever it comes to stopping a criminal, I'm not going to go as far as self-antagging, unless I am actually the round selected antagonist. The most I'll do is stun them a few times, and maybe be a bit rough when actually processing them. Throwing them into their cell, and slamming them back down if they decide to run. It wouldn't be anything really bad that would warrant an ahelp.

I'm totally in favor of this. I think it'd add some really good RP to the station if people had a really dark religion to hide behind their backs, and in their records.

1. Appearance. Let's just start this off by saying that under no circumstances, should you be carrying around an energy anything on green alert. Even Head of Security's should listen to this. Under no circumstance should you have any weapon in hand, unless you are in the process of detaining a known criminal. And for the love of all things, keep your clothes on. 2. SOP. FOLLOW THE STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE. IT IS THERE FOR A REASON. You should not beat the everloving shit out of everyone standing in your way. This is a one-way ticket to being thrown in the brig yourself. Always give the criminal a chance to surrender peacefully. If they refuse, Offer once more. If they refuse again, move detain. If they resist arrest, stun them ONCE, and then cuff them. You should not be stunning them 47 times in a row. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT PUT ON HARM INTENT WHEN USING THE STUN BATON. DO NOT WEAR FULL ARMOR DURING GREEN ALERT. DO NOT FORCE SEARCHES ON GREEN ALERT. 3. Listening to Superiors. Do not just disregard someone's orders because you think you are better than them. They are your superior for a reason. They have been promoted by NanoTrasen for a reason. Do not just run off into the depths of the station, and ignore them completely. Report in regularly, and go in teams. Never. Go. Alone. It's not that hard to grab a buddy, and go patrolling. 4. Communication Talk to your fellow Officers, and superiors. Let them know what you are doing, where you are doing it, why you are doing it, and who you're doing it with. This way, if you suddenly drop contact, people know something happened to you. Don't be one of those guys who just runs off to some corner of the station and be angsty in the maintenance tunnels. That's a one-way ticket to syndie pound town. 5. Be Polite. YOU ARE NOT HERE TO ABUSE AND TORTURE THE INHABITANTS OF THE STATION. Being polite to people is a ticket to getting yourself protected in the event of you being disarmed by a criminal. However, pissing everyone off is a ticket to getting yourself welded inside a locker, and spaced. (Also Protip: DO NOT PISS OFF MEDBAY. EVER. THEY ARE YOUR LIFELINE, LITERALLY. IF YOU GET SHOT IN THE GUT, THEY ARE THE ONES WHO TAKE THE BULLET OUT. If anyone pops up, and decides to be some sort of Master of Swords or some nonsense like that, you should name them Valkrae. Or if anyone becomes a villain. That'd be nice as well.

There has to be a happy medium. We have to keep the status of Heavy RP, and strict rules, whilst allowing this steam to be used to propel us into the great BYOND(I'm so funny). I don't suggest we go hidden forever, however, I do suggest we do it at semi-regular intervals, in order to give the staff, and regular players a much needed break. Every new player isn't going to be some god of RP, but at the same time, every new player won't be Baldy McBalderson from Balderon-V, with a vengeance bent on the destruction of the NSS Aurora. Think, everyone was new to Aurora once. I'm a new addition, and I don't seem to have many people hating me. I like to think I'm a decent member of this community. Which, as it turns out, is what a lot of people are looking for. They are looking for a community to feel apart of. We can't just sink into the depths of hidden, and turn away all of those potential great RPers. I might be babbling but, that's just my opinion on the matter.

He turns at the notion that someone had tuned in to his live feed. The man that turns stands at a threatening 6'5", and seems to be built like a boxer. A scraggly beard clung to his face, and shaggy brown hair rode down his forehead. He took a long draw of the cigarette, before setting it down on the table. He removed his red and black sunglasses, to reveal piercing blue eyes. "So you folks want to ask ol' Robert a question or two, eh?" He says, a deep voice sounds through your speakers as he speaks. He chuckles, a deep baritone chuckle, before shaking his head. "I ain't good at givin' very direct answers, but shit, I'll give it a shot." He leans back in his chair, replacing his sunglasses and cigarette, taking another long draw. He released the smoke in a circle, which ran around the camera. He smiled a very small, sly grin.

I'd like to chime in and state that Data wasn't banned for the situation that happened. He was banned to how he responded to Sue's intervention. Sue repeatedly asked him to cease the argument, however, Data continued to argue over the ahelps. I was a witness to this situation, and can vouch for Sue about the incident.

Species you are applying to play: Unathi Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: I have, and multiple times at that. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: The Unathi are a proud, and honorable war-like race. I want to RP a race that will rush into a fight based solely on honour alone. It's a different style of Roleplay than what I am used too, and I wish to branch out into this style of RP. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Humans can be anything, they are the galaxy’s median. Unathi, on the other hand, are restricted to a certain set of things they can be. They are an honorable race, and a race of warriors. They cannot do the fine dexterity needed tasks like Humans, and are more brute force than anything. Why does this species in particular hold your interest? The Unathi culture and personality are things that I would love to be able to play, and push into the station more. The Unathi are war-like and proud, and I feel as if it could create a good amount of conflict RP amongst the station. Character Name: Nazai’i Uzeekus Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Nazai’i and his brother grew up on the Northern pole of the planet. The Unathi is a dark red, with yellow eyes. Due to the outside interference of NT and the Sol Alliance, both of them were exposed to the outside universe relatively early. After a fairly uneventful childgood, Nazai’i became instantly interested in the practice of Law Enforcement. He took a ship offplanet, and enrolled in a Sol Alliance police academy. While, he got rather odd looks, being an Unathi in a predominantly human academy, He excelled in his studies. It seemed as if the Unathi was almost religiously dedicated to the Law, and anything related to it. He took courses in NanoTrasen Corporate regulations, as well as courses on other systems and races laws. He graduated, and began looking for work as a law enforcer. He picked up wind that NanoTrasen was hiring extra Security Cadets, and he signed on. He served at a few minor installations and stations before being promoted to full Officer. While the Unathi has an internal love for combat, He restrains himself in most situations. However, small things can set him off on a small rampage. This led to an incident on a planetary research installation, where a man stormed the place and murdered one of Nazai’i’s fellow Officers. The Unathi responded by throwing the murderer into a wall, and throwing a chair into him. He calmed for a moment, and detained him, before dragging him back, and throwing him into the cell, causing various bone fractures and internal bleeding. The incident was placed on his Security records, but no other action was taken against him. What do you like about this character? He’s got a very strict sense of honor, and a very strict code he enforces onto himself. He’s very law abiding, and driven to uphold the laws, regardless of what they are. He’s also a general change from my other characters, who tend to see the laws as sorts of guidelines, instead of strict things that have to be followed. He can be a bit over aggressive with murderers, which I think would be fun on antag rounds. As it keeps the RP going long after the perpetrator has been caught and detained. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I’d say I was a solid 8/10. I tend to let biases interfere with my RP, and I’ve been trying to work on it. Notes: PREPARE FOR JUSTICE.

Why does everyone else have these badass injuries? You know what? Imma tell you about my three fun hospital trips, I had my appendix burst once, that was a fun near death experience. Then there was the time the lymph nodes in my face swelled to the point that the doctor thought my face was going to burst. I also almost broke my neck and died in a freak accident with a fence, bleachers, and water.

Oh boy, Now can have some reminiscence RP if some people are from the same Colony!

Because some of us(me) are bad at video games, would probably just end up burning the whole place down while trying to move dorf from point A to point B.
