This is going to turn real bad, real fast. I am excite bike.

Each Assassin should have to kill the VIP in a certain way, and have certain rules of engagement they have to follow to carry out the contract.
-
Ooh, That's real fancy. Exactly how I pictured it.

The blacksmith shop would be well-stocked. Swords, shields, axes and other melee weaponry are up front. However, a door in the back of the shop is closed, and locked with some sort of padlock. A picture of a gun is painted on the door.

If Wizard is done right, It can be slightly hilarious without the chucklefuck. If you want to get rid of rounds that could possible cause chucklefuckery, Then all rounds except extended need to vanish. If done right, Wizard can be fun and interesting. Vampire is the same as this. I don't suggest we move it, I suggest secret round vampries and wizards be selected by admins/staff

As long as the people selected aren't chucklefucks who just slaughter everyone with giant bombs meant to kill the VIP.

At that point, My immediate reaction would be a quick-retaliation to take hold of the major Sol Alliance Government locations, and force them to surrender and adhere to my terms.

The group finds cover in the otherwise abandoned village. The creature screeches overhead, apparently not even focused on them in the first place. It screams off into the distance, searching for more worthy prey. The village itself seems relatively new, with the buildings not suffering much damage over time. Towards the middle of the town, there is what seems to be a marketplace, with various stalls, and to the right of that, a blacksmith. To the left, A large stone temple resides, and right down the center of the marketplace is a large building with no windows.

I highly doubt that Humanity would attempt to completely eradicate it's own home planet. It just seems.. far-fetched to me.

BYOND Key: Valkrae Character name: Robert Dalton Item name: Black Overcoat Why is your character carrying said item to work? Robert wears this coat while going about his various other activities, so it would make sense for him to wear this coat to work as well. It's sort of like an everyday coat that he wears. Item function(s): Being a coat. It could possibly be slightly armored, If that's feasible. As Robert deals in some criminal activities. Item description: A black overcoat. It seems worn, and well-made. The coat smells of tobacco and smoke. Item appearance: It would just be the armored trenchcoat that the Head of Security gets, only not armored, and completely black with some detail colors. Additional comments: I would love for it to be armored, but I'm not extremely adamant about making it armored. Would it be possible to attach to a jumpsuit, or attach it to body armor? Then it wouldn't need to be armored itself. I'm not adamant about the armored aspect though, as stated before.

The creature nears closer, it lets out another roar, one that might shake the very soul of your being. You might be able to determine some of it's features. It is exuding some sort of shadow. The shadow completely encoats the creature in its fingers.

His charge was expunged due to him ratting out the others.

BYOND Key: Valkrae Character Names: Robert Dalton, Shiela Maldin, Marcus Armstrong, VALKYRIE, Nazai'i Uzeekus, August Taylor. How long have you been playing on Aurora: Four Months Species you are applying to play: Tajaran. What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Diona exempt): Most likely a dark, ashen, gray. Think the way Ana Issek looks. Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: I have, various times. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: I enjoy the Tajaran culture, and love the lore written for it. I love reading about their history, and seeing them played. I feel as if I can add a new perspective on the history, as it seems to me that most Tajaran could care less what happens to Adhomhai.(Most likely butchered the spelling.) Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: First of all, They are walking cats. Second of all, The majority of Humans are from democratically run governments, Tajarans are emerging from a monarchy, into a socialist government. Thirdly, entirely different hormonal and societal taboos and mannerisms. Why does this species in particular hold your interest? The socialist government for one. I enjoy roleplaying characters from socialist or communist governments. There are many different ways I can RP this race, and I would very much enjoy to RP them all. Character Name: Kihir S'Rraha Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Kihir was born on Adhomhai, in one of the agrarian regions. However, his parents promptly left the planet after Kihir was born. They joined up with a trading flotilla, travelling between star systems. Kihir was raised around a variety of races, and he adapted easily to the surrounding. His parents, however, didn't adapt as well as he did. They, who had been raised on the rural plains of Adhomhai, couldn't as easily adapt to the high-tech environment that they were in. His mother and father were employed as Cargo Technicians, mostly used to carry crates back and forth between the shuttles and wherever they are needed. Kihir adapted well to his surroundings, growing into a leadership position amongst the youth of the flotilla. Once they reached a mature age, The group left the flotilla, at the directive of Kihir. Kihir and his band of friends were sent to Mars. On Mars, they quickly fell on the wrong side of the law. They began to get involved in drug dealing, and extortion, Kihir himself becoming an avid drug dealer and enforcer for a local gang. This all came to a tragic end, in a police bust on a drug deal. Kihir, his friends, and the gang he was working for all were arrested. Kihir was released shortly after, for ratting out the other operations of the gang. The police that arrested him sent the young Tajaran to a university nearby, as he had achieved his youth education on the flotilla. There, he received two degrees, A degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a degree in Physics. Shortly after graduating, the university set him up with a job with NanoTrasen , and he was immediately transferred to the NSS Aurora. What do you like about this character? He's got a criminal background, and I intend to keep that criminal activity going on the server. That may be through coordinating with chemists to manufacture drugs, and sell them to crewmembers, as this would create RP for nearly all sections of the ship. I also like his domineering personality, which may cause him to bully other crewmembers into doing as he pleases. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I wouldn't give myself a numerical rating. If I had too, I'd give myself a solid 8/10. I can keep to a character concept, but two issues I have is playing to win without realizing, and having compassion on characters that I shouldn't have compassion on. I do these things without realizing them, and have been taking steps in order to combat this, and eradicate them completely. Notes: Time for a bad joke: Meowtro 2033.

If Senator Armstrong becomes an actual thing, you better believe I'm making a character like Raiden. Hair and all.

Frances - Lore Dev Application
Valkrae replied to Frances's topic in Developer Applications Archives
May I ask some questions? As I have not had many experiences with you personally, How do you deal with people completely disregarding your opinion and going about what they wish to do? Not in a hostile way, but believing themselves to be right. And how do you think about inactive members, who still try and claim ownership over whatever it is they used to have control over? -
In response to the ungodly screech, you might begin to hear what sounds to be a roar coming from the mountains. It is low and guttural. It would most certainly instill fear in all who hear it, or at least some sense of wary. The ground below you would shake, and a black dot would slowly begin to rise from the range.

@spacecowboy - "Goddamn cadets. Why do they think it's okay to get hammered on duty. Don't you think I wouldn't be completely fucking plastered if I could be on duty? #FuckThisGoddamnStation

From what I can tell from Deffos post, and the other evidence posted, Deffos acted well within the SOP, and the bounds of acceptable character constraints. Maybe he didn't see the other OPs, and caused a gunfight by complete accident. This all seems like it was blown out of proportion, very quickly. Deffos seems to have thoroughly thought his side out, and seems to have done everything in his power to rescue the hostages. Yes, what he did may have been considered as murderbone, but the immediate ganking with an energy sword directly afterwards, after he had apparently stopped, could be considered the same.

If I were in your shoes at this very moment, If I was unjobbanned, I wouldn't immediately hop back into the saddle of Head of Staff. I would sit back, and only take it occasionally. Slowly work yourself back in, and when you are comfortable with normal heads, only then do you go for Captain.

I like foxes. Foxes are cool.

"Acetes, We read you. Want to tag along while we patrol? Foehammer hired us to patrol the sector."

All of you would find yourself in an open field, the wind brushing lightly through the air. You would be wearing basic clothing, and have nothing else on you. Your mind is hazy, and you can't remember much of your previous life. You can only remember your name, and your martial skills. The area around the plains is diverse. To the north, there are mountains that seem to scrape the sky. To the south, There seems to be a dense forest that bleeds darkness. To the east and west, The plains stretch on. There seems to be some buildings to the east. There is only the four of you in the plains.

Fun fact: Jenna and I have known each other for a year or two prior to playing on Aurora. We roleplayed on Minecraft RP servers, and we were staff together on some of them. I didn't even know she played on Aurora until a week after I played regularly.
